The guy said without changing any expressions: (in english) Traffic is moving smoothly !!

Damn. I said have some civic sense, you people.

Nothing else I could do then.

AND Pretty Vogue Body Mist:

Top Notes: Plum Blossom, Bamboo Water Heart Notes: Ginger, Pink Magnolia, White Tea Base Notes: Musk, Amber

Sweet and decent softness just a mist would require. I could detect plum and light musk. Something I would love if my wife wears on a Sunday at home.

Longevity: about 4 hours while doing nothing inside home..

AND Ethereal Dreamer Eau De Parfum:

Top Notes: Bergamot, Fruity Heart Notes: Iris, Jasmine Base Notes: Patchouli, Vetiver

Calming and soft perfume which initially reminded me of Nautica Voyage and somewhat Nautica Heritage. Wish it could last longer though. Jasmine hint and fruity sweetness balances this lovely non-loud fragrance.

Longevity: Hardly 4 hours despite being an EDP.

So, I have used the perfume too. And this, is lying on my shelf since 2024. About to expire on Jan 2027.

Lately this has become too intense and long lasting. It wasn't like this in the first year. So I avoided it and threw it inside the cupboard. Only taken out during peak summer to layer with the same perfume. But now as a standalone, this gives great fruity sharp vibes and lasts too well, about 8 hrs. Don't know about projection as no one around me noted it. But damn them. I feel the favorite fragrance all around me and that's enough to make my day good.

Had a great audience yesterday evening. At Rajhans Cinema, 7pm show. English language.

Almost 40% occupancy. All men. No kids. No women. No chatar patar. Pin drop silence during that most crucial scene towards the end. Damn. Now I will always go to English shows only.

Got my hands on this for a few days this summer. Looking at the bottle, the immediate thought was 'this must be a tobacco based frag'. But no. This was something else. From the first spray itself, this felt very old school, classic fragrance. Pink pepper is leading with lavender and then amber vanilla notes. Spicy but just not my type. Very old school.

Longevity: 2-3 hrs.

Projection: mild.

Notes as seen on fragrantica:

Top: Pink pepper, Grapefruit.

Middle: Lavender, Vetiver

Base: Vanilla, Amber, Tonka Bean

PS: a cousin got this from Canada. So I don't think this is a dupe.

Again an old sample lying with me. Most of them got leaked (as seen on the bottle). I don't know how. Whatever was left, I used it in a day.

Notes as per the brand:

First Impression: Rum on Warm Afternoons, Sliced Apples, Almond Pastries.

The Heart: Coconut Milk in Coffee, Neroli through Open Windows, Lotus.

The Sillage: Vanilla on Café Air, Marshmallow Sweetness, Sandalwood Tables.

What I felt:

The initial sharp notes of apples and floral are definitely felt. Then came the mild sweetness of coconut and vanilla. Not at all over sweet and perfectly balanced. Though I felt a bit of a tobacco-like note which is not listed by the brand. This lasted surprisingly good for about 6 hrs, but again, not too loud. On a hot and humid day, this didn't feel uncomfortable, which generally gourmand frags feel like. Indeed a wonderful composition.

However after the recent price hike, I wonder if at all I will go for a full bottle.

After a long wait and a Reddit post here, finally the attar set was in my hand for the trial. Bottles look very good with 'ml' marking and the little brush kind of plastic inside so that I can apply it. (As the bottles don't have the ball on top). Leaving the late delivery and delayed response, here's my unbiased take on them..

Aqua

Notes as per brand:

Oceanic notes, Ambrox, Cardamom, Plum, Orange, Apple, Cinnamon, Bergamot

What I felt: A typical blue freshie attar that reminds many such sweet ones, but in a refined and non-loud way. Mostly linear performance throughout its longevity that is surprisingly great. Almost 7 hours and the aroma was still around me.

Zesty Orange

Notes as per brand:

Mandarin,Neroli, Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Patchouli, Incense

What I felt: The opening immediately reminded me of something so familiar but I can't place it exactly. Some ayurvedic or some hair oil products have a ditto smell. Sharp and too spicy, but again a surprise in store. It doesn't stay as sharp later on. The orange and citrus kinda notes settles with a bit of sweetness and stays like that. Longevity: about 5 hours. Decent freshness.

Fresh Vetiver

Notes as per brand:

Vetiver, Citrus, Amber, Woody Notes.

What I felt: As we all are spoilt by the exotic vetiver frags like TDH and Fattan, this felt underwhelming. Mostly this felt like Khadi Natural Khus soap. If only the sharpness would be there, I would have loved it. Longevity: weakest of the lot. About 3 hrs and poof, gone.

Fresh Aura

Notes as per brand:

Bergamot, Grapefruit, Pineapple, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Jasmine, Oakmoss

What I felt: I have a British clone of Creed Aventus that is Verset Choice. This attar smells exactly like that except the initial alcohol feel. Decent pineapple and bergamot feels fresh with a longevity of around 6 hours.

Notes as per brand:

Aquatic Notes, Salt, Mint, Ginger, Green Notes, Coconut, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood

What I felt: None of the notes are felt here. I don't know if this is a labelling mistake. Because instead this felt over sweet pineapple and bergamot combination, a bit synthetic too. Lasting is pretty good for around 6-7 hours. Exactly smells like Freecultr Demigod EDP.

Is there any easy solution for this? I don't want to change the belt. And no, no Casio stores in the radius of 300kms.

An absolute clean and light perfume with low longevity. At least in the city where I tried it: Mumbai. The weather was hot and less humid. This gave fresh vibes like a fresh bouquet delivered in my hands and with a hint of some citrus and jasmine (very light) and some other flowers I don't remember the name of. But mostly used in fancy bouquets. This doesn't shout with those vanilla kinda notes mostly thrown in, in fem frags. A definitely full bottle buy worthy.

After countless ads on insta, I finally gave in to buy 249 ₹ attar sample set. There my ordeal starts which is not seeing an end.

Ordered on: 5 June.... Shipped on: 6 June.... Arrived in my city: 10 June.

Since then, every morning, I receive 'your order is out for delivery '. And then 'you requested for rescheduling of delivery '.

All this while, Mr Hasan (or whatever) is pretty much silent, unresponsive and unperturbed.

Those who jump in comments that Hasan Oud is not like that. It is courier agency fault what he can do in that .... Can't he even escalate? Leave that, can't he even respond? I have paid 249₹ for end to end service, which is not delivered. How he is not at fault ?

PS: The same courier service delivers everything from other e shopping websites.

I literally forgot these samples that came with full bottle purchase in Nov 2025. So, a 7 months matured fragrance this was. However, some of the juice was evaporated (??)/leaked. In the storage.

Here's what the brand description says on their website:

First Impression: Mint Gum, Green Apples, Bergamot

The Heart: Cinnamon from Shared Desserts, Orange Blossom

The Sillage: Vanilla on Hoodie Cuffs, Amber pressed into skin, Sandalwood

Here's what I felt:

Initially it felt like a strong soapy thing. Mostly the white Dove soap / Dove deo. The citrus kinda notes are too sharp. Later on, after about an hour, I could feel the orange and bergamot. But no, vanilla or sandalwood was not felt.

Longevity: 4 hours + in a hot humid atmosphere with mostly sitting in ac cabin with occasionally going out and around.

If you are a person who likes feminine leaning fragrance, this is one such. But nothing too notable unlike other exotic ones made by this brand. I won't buy a full bottle tbh.

Initially I reviewed its 2ml sample. In which I wrote how this was not a genuine jasmine fragrance. But, as my wife loved that one, I gambled on the full bottle. Voila ! It surprised me !

Lost in Madurai has that exquisite description on Kanzan website. The full bottle experience actually matches that (almost). It is indeed a feeling like you are walking on a street that sells jasmine *gajras*, and garlands. Only if it had rose and/or marigold notes, this would be my most favourite fragrance.

So, this, feels like 'wet' *mogras* (jasmines). Can't describe this exactly but something earthy is there in the notes which makes it different from Secret Alchemist Madurai Jasmine. And also this doesn't have a vanilla base but tonka, cedar and white musk, so that 'divine jasmine's kinda feel is there.

Projection: Good projection for about an hour. Then clings to you for a long time.

Longevity: about 6 hours. (After a masceration of about 4 months). Decent, mood lifting floral heaven.
