So, I received them last evening. Tried them all. But haven't used them as a day scent, so no review of projection and longevity. Here's how they smell:

1. Leather Spice: Just like the name, the spicy leather smell is dominant and just the way I like them, dark Woody undertones. I doubt how this fares in this scorching summer but still I will try this first.

2. Aqua: That typical blue attar with green and aquatic fragrance that reminded me of Kaaf Attar by Arabian Aroma. Like it.

3. Texas: Whisky Smoke in attar form. Vanilla and tobacco are felt. Like it.

4. Constant: While the above 3 were decent, I literally hated this one. Smells weird, like - oily smelling white dove soap. While notes say Woody/aromatic/spicy/musky. Duh. Avoid.

Overall, a decent set at such price that goes 75₹ for a 3ml bottle. But only if they replace 'Constant' with something else.

PS: Roller ball design and bottle design is top notch. Feels premium compared to similarly priced bottles of Al Nuaim, Al Rehab or Arabian Aroma.

I tracked it since it was 499₹.

Had ordered when it came to 399₹.

Today it is 'out for delivery ', but now it's priced at 299₹ 😭

So, in search of my favourite floral smell that is Jasmine. This caught my eye when it was on a great discount, can't remember exactly but got it somewhere around 700₹ from Nykaa.

Notes as per brand: Top-Orange Blossom. Middle-Indian Jasmine. Base-Madagascar Vanilla.

My take:

The orange notes mixed with Jasmine hits you with freshness at the first spray itself. And to be honest, this is really near to the og scent of the flower. The base of vanilla is not too sweet and keeps jasmine frag alive. An absolute pleasing smell.

Projection: About 2 hours. Could feel in the room where I sprayed it on myself, even after 1 hour.

Longevity: Crazy. At the EOD, it was felt by people around 1 ft radius (when asked, do you feel this smell). That's like 8 hrs !

Don't know about their 'safe perfume' claim is true or not. But definitely would love to try men frags from them. Alas, they are too pricey!!

PS: Yes, it's closer to the same named frag from the House of Kanzan, but this is more 'real' deal.

The taste is so good like the older ones.

I wanted to love this one from em5, but unfortunately it disappointed me.

Well, as the sample set was on discount, I bought them and tried 5 frags. One by one I am reviewing them.

Notes as per the brand:

Top: Fresh accords ( ?!)

Middle: Tonka Bean, Clove, Allspice, and other aromatic elements

Base: some blah written on their website. Nothing else.

My experience:

Indeed, it immediately gives you the barbershop vibes. Like some Gillette shaving cream here some spicy after shave there. But immediately it settles with too much spice that is clove kinda feel. And then you get that powdery feeling, most identical to the Red Cinthol talcum powder.

Projection is not too heavy. (Surprised! Despite the fact it has much oil concentration). Longevity too is nothing to write home about. It stays on clothes for about 7-8 hours but you have to sniff on clothes, not like you get a bubble of smell around you, no.

I doubt the atomiser for this performance. It was the worst I have ever used. It streamed and not sprayed. While recently I used TDH 2ml vial. It was the best.

Em5, you want to market high end frags but don't want to give quality samples!!? that won't work.

Finally, I got the thing. I tried this sample twice but couldn't feel much and then set it aside. Now in this 45 degree summer, I took it out again and now I have fallen in love.

Fattan : initially I didn't like it too. But later I loved it. Now TDH, is not similar. From the first spray, spices and earthy aroma fills the nose and then settling it stays that way with citrus, for long. I got an easy 5 hours despite the hot atmosphere.

Compared to another cheapie, Wild Stone Terra. Again WS is not the same. It is more sharp. And yes, absolutely bang for buck too.

However I don't know why TDH is just damn costly. Would have loved to buy a full bottle. But the price. So, I need to find out whether Smytten will restock this sample again.

PS: This has the best atomiser for a 2ml vial, I have ever used.
