One bite at a time.

I’ve been burned out and stressed for a long time. I heard the above in a particularly dark time and it just clicked. You cannot do everything. You cannot make everyone happy. The day is overwhelming if you try to do it all.

Every day when I finish a task, I swallow to myself and think, one less bite. By the end of the day, I say that elephant is eaten. The rest gets tossed as you cannot eat leftover elephants.
