Is there a site where I can find scanned photo books? Although I buy the ones I can, I can't always get everything I want. Right now, I'm looking to see Glen E. Friedman's photos from his book Dogtown.
Hi, I'm about to buy my first flashes, and in my city, several people are selling TT600s for practically half price, claiming they're new. It seems strange to me, and I wanted to know if there are any counterfeit, low-quality Godox flashes or anything like that.
A few days ago, I posted here mentioning that I was taking a lighting course and asking for photo references. Everyone was very helpful, and I found some great things.
The thing is, I feel like the course isn't up to par, and today, talking to more students, it seems we all share the same feelings.
My plan was to buy two Speedlight flashes after the course and use what I learned to take photos I liked, but seeing how things are going, it looks like I'll have to search and learn from online resources since I don't want to pay for another course, which aren't cheap in my city.
What books, videos, blogs, or materials do you think are really useful for learning about lighting?
I'm taking a lighting course and the next class is a nude photography session. I wanted to go with some good references; who are your favorite nude photographers?
Hello everyone,
I wanted to know if you have any advice for digitizing prints.
I was wondering whether you think it's better to look for a lab with a flatbed scanner or try to digitize the images with a camera. All of my prints are 8x10, and these particular ones have a lot of contrast.
Lately, I've started making somewhat large-format paste-ups of my photos. The one in the picture is approximately 1 meter tall. I scanned my photos at a local business that has nothing to do with photography, so I wasn't expecting great results.
