New password app, privacy

Im looking for the ultimate password manager. I currently have Bitwarden and Proton Pass. I recently came across Password Anchor and someone mentioned 1password. Im getting confused with all this info im reading about. Im 73 and not real tech savvy. I like proton pass and bit warden. But now I read that password anchor is strictly stored on your phone, no cloud involved. Can someone help me figure out this old man's dilemma? Should I try out password anchor or just stick with proton and bitwarden?

New Samsung smart tag2

Well i got my new tags this morning and setup was a breeze, unlike the ones I had yesterday. Everything set up perfectly on all 4 device. I still wish the volume was a bit louder on the high setting. Maybe it's because im old and have hearing loss is the reason they dont sound very loud to me. 😅 I can hear them but I have to listen very closely. All volume setting up but just dont seem loud enough for me. Oh well, they'll work for now

Samsung smart tag2

I purchased a 4 pack of samsung smart tag2, and on all of them the volume was so low that I could barely hear them even sitting in my lap. None of them were loud at all! Are all tag2's like that? I got them to find my keys and I certainly wouldn't have been able to hear that low of sound. I tried all volume settings on my phone, the smart things app and the find app. COULD NOT GET ANY VOLUME! i read about the battery being low could cause that? but the items came new and the batteries showed full charge. What did I miss or do wrong? Help please! I reordered the same units hopeing for a better result, maybe got a bad set. Maybe batteries were all dead, I dont know!!!!!! Reviews all say they had good volume!

Smart tag2 placement

Can i put a smart tag2 in my wifes car and be able to locate her when she gets lost? She not so good at following map app directions. How far away can it track? If i put one on my keys can it locate them also? Lastly what apps aside from the Smart things app on my phone already will work with this item? Thanks

Now for the front, back, side windows and mirrors

Ok, truck and car washed. Now on to the glass. My 2015 F150 windshield definitely needs a good cleaning and polishing. So, do i clean with invisible glass, polish, buff, then hit it again with the invisible glass?

The side and back windows on the truck are in good shape, so i was going to just invisible glass and buff? I dont think they need polish. Interior just needs invisible glass. Mirrors gonna get invisible glass, polish, buff, invisible glass.

The car is brand new (2 months old 2025) so I was just going to invisible glass it inside and out.

Is the aforementioned processes adequate or am i missing something or doing too much?

So what say you, pros? Thoughts please!

Really good smelling air freshners for your vehicle or home.

I found a good air freshener for my vehicles and house. They're called Bio Bombs. They have about a dozen different scents and some of them are pretty awesome, some not so much. You can get a little pouch for the bars and hang it in your vehicle or toss it under you seat. I picked 3 different scents that I thought were pretty good smelling. I like the Vanilla C.R.E.A.M. , Cherry Bomb, and Pumpcan (smells like pumpkin pie). You get 2 bars in a pack and they supposed to get "60+ days of freshness per bar" (that's what it says on the pack anyhow). The scent isnt "Smack You In The Face" strong when you get in your vehicle like some fresheners. Nice subtle, smooth scent. They run $9.95 per 2 bar pack at the detail shop i go to. Im currently rockin' the Vanilla C.R.E.A.M. in my truck, the wife has Cherry Bomb in her car and we put 4 bars of Pumpcan around our house! (we have 3 long haired chihuahuas) I love the Pumpcan scent! Smells soooo good. I got a pack of Pumpcan for my truck for when the Vanilla runs out. Check it out if you need a good freshner for your vehicle or home. Hope you find one you like. Cheers!

Note: This is not an ad, it's just my personal experience with a good product.....

Best Dilution ratio for P&S Carpet Bomber

What is the best dilution ratio for cleaning what i would believe to be a tough stain on the armrest in my 2015 F150? Ill be using P&S Carpet Bomber and Upolstery Cleaner. I was told 1:8 ratio but that seems a little light to me, or is that carpet bomber that good? I have no experience with this product. Input please!?

Outside is done, Now for the inside

I got Clean by Pan the Organizer for the vinyl in my truck. It is recommended by my detail shop as it has UV protection and cleans well.

My pro detailer recommended P&S Carpet Bomber Carpet and Upolstery Cleaner for the cloth seats and center armrest. Im gonna give it a go because my detailer did a spectacular job on the outside 2 step process on my truck so I believe in him. Got a gallon for $29.99 off Amazon, free overnight delivery. I thought that was pretty good. Elsewhere it was $24,95, and $26.96 per gallon but after tax and shipping it came out to $40+. So i saved a few bucks. Hope it does a good job.

Here we go! Wish me luck!

Stop auto open mail

I have sent Proton support a message about this problem but I haven't gotten a response from them. Perhaps someone here can answer my question!?

When i get a notification that I have mail, when I click on that notification it goes to proton mail but it automatically opens the email! I dont want it to do that. How can I turn that feature off or stop it from automatically opening the mail message? Anyone?

Hoping proton support replies to my dilemma, still waiting. They have not sent me a ticket or anything.

Now the inside since the outside is complete

Well, now that the exterior is done, it's time for the interior. I got me some interior cleaning formula with UV protectant from my local detail shop for the plastic and vinyl dash, and the doors, bought me some Stoners invisible glass for the windows in and out, now I need something to clean the cloth on my seats, and middle pull down arm rest. The cloth isn't too bad but the middle pull down does have a bit of a dark spot where one puts their arm to rest during driving. When i bought the vehicle the dealer did an amazing job on the detailing but they couldn't get out the marks on the armrest. Im gonna give it a go to see if I can spiff her up. The rest of my cloth is really pretty clean, just needs refreshed. What's the best cloth upholstery cleaner I can try for general refreshing and that tough spot I have on the armrest? Through research so far I have found a couple products but id like you folks expertise on the matter. The products I have come across to accomplish my needs are;

  1. Chemical Guys Nonsense, Odorless Cleaner For Car Interior and Exterior All Purpose Cleaning Spray for Vinyl, Rubber, Plastic, Carpet, Upholstery, and Engine Bays Foaming Deep Cleaning Formula

  2. Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner Spray for Car Seats, Carpet, Upholstery Fabric, Floor Mat, Vinyl, Dashboard,

  3. Meguiar's Carpet & Cloth Kit,This Car Care Kit includes a Premium Fabric & Carpet Cleaner and Accessories,A Plush Microfiber Towel and 4” Drill Brush Attachment to Thoroughly Clean Interiors, Kit

  4. Tuff Stuff Multi Purpose Foam Cleaner for Deep Cleaning.

The Chemical Guys one and the maguire kit have the best ratings and reviews on Amazon. Google says that the Tuff Stuff is most preferred as well as the maguire. The maguire kit comes with more accessories for cleaning cloth but the tuff stuff is a google favorite.

What are your experiences and recommended products to use for not so bad soiling of my cloth seats and a bit of tough spot on the armrest between the seats? The maguire kit is the priciest one due to the accessories it comes with. The rest are really not that badly priced. Cost is not the issue, it's the performance im looking for.

Im going to go back to my local detail shop and see what they recommend but I know they gonna be pricey on this.

Done and Done

Well I had the pro detailer come out yesterday and do a 2-step process on my truck. No more swirls from the car wash, paint came out great! After they were done i applied cerakote paint sealer to the whole truck, and got NO streaks! Im so proud of that! I polished the chrome grill, fenders, and wheels. Did the cerakote tire coat, came out awesome by the way! Polished the windshield, buffed and cleaned it, applied cerakote ceramic glass coating, along with the side mirrors and back window, did the cerakote ceramic trim coat. DANG! My 2015 F150 looks like it just came off the showroom floor! Im so proud of myself, and the pro guys who did the paint restore. Take a look! What you think. 1 more humorous thing, I walked in the house for a sec, came out and a da%m bird s$%t on my nice clean truck! Fortunately it was on the back fender trim so it wiped off easy! 😅
