Raw footage of me working on these arpeggios

Chopin Scherzo 3
Trying to be more ok with things not sounding good, or polished.
It feels very vulnerable sharing clips like these online, but as an experiment today, I decided to leave the camera rolling while practicing and upload a random segment of it. Maybe I will feel about it afterwards…
I think my perfectionism and anxiety is getting worse and worse, and it was so hard resisting the urge to record a new clip with no wrong notes lol

DZP build choices?

I’m not really a cruiser player but I’ve been loving the DZP. Just driving around spamming fires everywhere, and with 5 charges of ADA2 no CVs like to mess with me.

I’ve decided to invest some bonds into her equipment, but unsure what approach to take. Should I try buffing the air strikes or just focus on a standard primary build? I found the dispersion to be quite high, so maybe worth reducing that, but fire control radar increases surface detection and also buffs secondary dispersion which is a useless stat for DZP.
I’d appreciate some advice!

Thoughts on the River Gambra?

Thinking whether to buy the BP or not this season. I did the little 3-day trial thing for the River Gambra and was not blown away, but ofc for the trial u cannot even put a commander on the ship which massively reduces the performance.

For anyone that does have it, what do u like and dislike about it? Is it a strong ship? Richelieu ‘39 from the previous BP was very very good (imo) and I’ve been having a blast w it:)

Anyone else struggling with Chios grind?

I think I don’t understand the playstyle or something. I suppose it’s quite fast/maneuverable for a BB, and has decent AA for the tier. But apart from that, it feels like it shoots AP pellets that barely deal any damage, has really bad dispersion and travel time, and gets sunk really quickly when anyone focuses on u. And its only gimmick ig is that it can shoot a single slow-moving torpedo in any direction (except for behind)? Idt I’ve ever landed that thing.

Am I supposed to play it more as a cruiser?

Tissue paper for 50cm+ double tissue?

Hey guys! Just started investigating how to make my own paper. I know to start small when testing, but the goal of this is so I can make my own sheets that are 50cm x 50cm or bigger.

Most tissue paper I see on Amazon comes in 20” x 14” (~50 x 37cm). Where do u guys buy tissue large enough to cut a 50cm + square from? Is it the type that comes in rolls, or do certain places like craft stores sell sheets that come in larger sizes? Or are u supposed to graft 2 sheets together?

(Edit: I am in Canada)

Struggling🥹 (scherzo 3)

Bringing the chorale up to speed but struggling to keep it “leggierissimo”😭😭😭Back to slow practice and rhythms it is!
Also trying to play without looking at the score too much, it tends to distract me and I do have many passages memorized already just from repetition, but I tend to forget the “in between” passages which leads to some random pauses as I try to find where I am in the music hahaha

Also included some octaves cuz they’re fun😛

Working on cleaner voicing

Not much time to practice today, mainly just reviewed parts of the Sonata I already learned, and then some more passagework for Chopin Scherzo 3

Any ship/line that likes Crossing the T and APCS+?

Did a random pull of the Massachusetts crate to try for the legendary commander but got this dude instead.

After a morning of metronome work…

Scherzo 3 coda. It is hard to stay synced to metronome when it’s 1 tick per bar.

At around 170 bpm or so I switched from quarters to dotted half note per tick of the metronome. This is 60 bpm.

Shout out to my family for the patience of listening to 2 hrs of “tick-tick-tick…”

How to play British T6 BB Renown?

Hey guys. Pretty new player here, I’ve grinded 1 other line to tier X, the Pan-EU Gdansk line.

I tried out some US BBs and hated them cuz they’re so damn slow, then I learned that St. Vincent is one of if not the best tech tree ships in the game and decided to give the line a try.

I got up to Renown and seem to have hit a hard wall with the learning curve of this game. Seems like no matter what I do I have 0 impact and just get destroyed, every single game. I just don’t understand what my gameplan is supposed to be, I feel so squishy.

I tried playing closer to my team and got outgunned by the enemy BBs. My DPM feels similar to enemy cruisers’ but they’re more agile and dodge way more of my shots than I can theirs.

I tried playing more passive and long range, but I just get one shot by a flanking DD out of nowhere… I legit had games where I landed about 2 shots and then got sunk. I’ve gotten a bunch of other lines to T6-8 and have never felt so clueless/helpless as to what I’m supposed to be doing.

Can someone give me a detailed explanation or breakdown on how I’m supposed to play this ship (or similar ships)?

Am I brave enough to tackle a piece this large…?

Just finished my first practice session, managed to (sorta?) learn up to the first repeat (mm.125a) after about 2.5 hours.

My only thought was “I’ve been playing for 5 minutes and the first movement is only half done???” (1/4 done if I play the repeat…)

Not sure if I have the stamina or mental capacity to pull off a 40 minute sonata LMAO but it’s too beautiful to not at least try.

Had to crop the video cuz I was unable to upload one that’s longer.

Bourgogne build

Hey everyone, I’m a fairly new player and I recently got Bourgogne from returning rewards. Currently I’m only playing in lower tiers to improve at the game, and working on levelling a commander to 10, for the master reload skill for my Bourgogne.

Apart from commander having Master Reloader, what equipment/other setup should I equip on it?

Also is it a big deal if I don’t have a legendary commander with Master Reloader+?

Most valuable piece from your childhood?

Schumann — Arabeske, op. 18

This piece for me was the gateway to more advanced music as a child. I had always struggled with having really stiff wrists and not understanding the small circular motions people meant when talking about having a “flexible wrist,” until my teacher had the great idea of assigning this piece to me, to learn exactly that. The phrasing lined up perfectly with each little motion, and I remember how much of a “eureka” moment that felt for me. I still look back on it fondly and play it from time to time; it’s a lovely piece. I highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t played it yet!

MY FIRST 10 PULL EVER (it’s my bday thank u Rito!!!)

I bought the BP for the first time ever and it gave me some of that pull currency. I saw this rly cute arena pop up and thought “why not try a pull” and managed to save myself a few hundred dollars, and on my bday too! I’m so happy~~

I HAD MY CINDERELLA MOMENT!!!

These are the notes I wrote down while trying shoes on for over an hour today. (For context, I am a man somewhat wide-ish feet with really shallow/small heels).

Where I live, shoes and sizes are extremely limited so I had to drive over an hour to this shop that had the various shoes I heard were good for my foot shape from researching online. The shoes I tried last ended up being the perfect fit! Highly recommend Instinct VSWs to anyone with smaller heels!!

Can’t wait to receive my order and climb with them🎉🎉
