Thanks to a post here I was tipped off to the awesome vintage inspired Halloween tin at Lush. I then took it into my nail tech who gave me a great spooky set based off of the artwork! My manicurist is @mammasflamesession in Raleigh NC.

I’ve spent a few years making my covered patio into the perfect chill space. My favorite is at night when I turn my fairy lights on and listen to the cicadas and frogs. I also have two ceiling fans and overhead lights that are dimmable, but I prefer the fairy lights. Been thinking of adding a rug, but not sure, because I live in the south and pollen covers everything. I’m also slowly adding more plants!

This is only my second needle felted project, a mushroom kit from Benzie Designs. I’m overall pleased with it but wish it weren’t so “fuzzy.” How do people get it so dense and smooth? More stabbing? Agitating with water? Any tips/tricks appreciated!

I recently purchased this amazing guy from Etsy as I was hoping to study it to learn new techniques etc but what arrived in my mailbox was…. Not as good. It makes me think the original image is AI…. Bummer tho. It’s cool looking.

Decided to stop by the new pastry/coffee shop on 9th, Tous le Jour when some friends recommended it and it did not disappoint!! Was impressed with the wide selection and the quality of the pastries. They serve a wide variety of coffee/tea and even matcha espressos.

Saw someone post the Museum of Design in Portugal a while back and knew I had to go. It did not disappoint.

Found a sole cup of my favorite mcm China pattern (Franciscan atomic starburst) at the thrift for .99c and it had a pretty big chip so I made it into a planter to hang out on my patio.
