This is only my second needle felted project, a mushroom kit from Benzie Designs. I’m overall pleased with it but wish it weren’t so “fuzzy.” How do people get it so dense and smooth? More stabbing? Agitating with water? Any tips/tricks appreciated!
I recently purchased this amazing guy from Etsy as I was hoping to study it to learn new techniques etc but what arrived in my mailbox was…. Not as good. It makes me think the original image is AI…. Bummer tho. It’s cool looking.
Our favorite swimming spot is Sennett’s (aka Turtle) Hole and we haven’t been back since Chantal devastated the area. Does anyone know if it’s safe to swim in yet? TIA!

Decided to stop by the new pastry/coffee shop on 9th, Tous le Jour when some friends recommended it and it did not disappoint!! Was impressed with the wide selection and the quality of the pastries. They serve a wide variety of coffee/tea and even matcha espressos.

Found a sole cup of my favorite mcm China pattern (Franciscan atomic starburst) at the thrift for .99c and it had a pretty big chip so I made it into a planter to hang out on my patio.
