Smethwick - 23yr old hanging around kids

Hi, I've been informed of an incident where a 23yr old man is hanging around young kids (10-11) in West Smethwick park and played roughly with them, making them cry.

I wanted to ask if anyone has anymore info on this or has noticed anyone around.

Please watch your kids and keep them safe at all times!

EDIT: These are not my children, I have not left any unattended and have warned the parents of this. I simply would like information if anyone has any and want to warn others.

pigeon in house

hi, i noticed a pigeon in my office last night, i tried to open the window wide and get it out but it wouldn't fly out so i figured id leave it until the morning and hopefully itll leave on it's own once it's daylight.

i checked this morning and it's still in the closet and won't leave, im a bit too terrified of birds to pick it up and I don't want to release it out the window if it can't fly properly (im on a 4th floor).

any advice? it doesn't seem injured?

EDIT: for further context, i live in the uk, i dont believe there's anyone who will come out and do anything right?

exercise and weight loss

hiii everyone, i (21f) used to go running and walk a lot but i have achilles tendonitis at the moment, worsened by my fibro and im so exhausted all of the time that i cant find the energy to exercise.

are there any exercises people recommend that you can do even when you're low energy to help lose weight? im starting to get depressed and self conscious about gaining weight from the lack of movement im doing :(

i also struggle with eating really healthy because im too tired to cook a lot of the time - any advice here too?

achilles tendonitis/other injuries+ fibro

hi guys, i currently have achilles tendonitis and i notice the pain is extreme, especially at night, and spreads up my leg and then my other leg will randomly start hurting etc.

i was diagnosed with fibro yesterday - is experiencing all of this unrelated pain alongside an injury a common thing and how do you cope with injury recovery + fibro?

anything i do just seems to flare it up more, if i rest it's bad, if i walk, it's bad, etc. :')

tips for finding an apartment

hi, i'm considering taking a lower-paying job as it's my dream job but am also in the process of looking for a new house to rent on my own and saving for this.

ideally i wouldnt want it to be more than £650, any cheaper would be perfect - ive considered a house share (with one person, not more) but am a bit anxious about this and am having no luck with the usual websites.

anyone have any tips on this, e.g good areas to look at or places to find house mates besides the usual websites?

[Discussion] Starting ASMR channel - any tips?

Hi guys, I (21F) have watched ASMR for at least 8 years now and have always been interested in starting up a channel.

I just filmed a 20 minute video where I do a couple of sudokus and whisper. I just want to gauge if you guys would click on this video or it would interest you at all? I can't seem to post a picture but the thumbnail and video is candlelit lighting, the sudoku book I'm doing is very aesthetic as it's snail mail.

It's very basic lofi, just filmed on a phone with airbuds (I'd invest into more stuff if I start taking this seriously).

Any tips on how to post/what tags to put/titles & captions, etc.? :))

Edit: And also thoughts on the name Detour ASMR, I don't want to use my actual name and would love for my intro to be about joining me on this video's little detour, whether it's a new game, hobby, etc. it's a detour from life to relax and take your mind off things, if that makes sense?

new to weight loss, looking for tips

hi im 21f and am unhappy with my weight atm, i dont think im overweight necessarily it's just that all my fat is going to the wrong places (my chin/face, belly, thighs) so i feel i am, ive gone from a size 10 to 14 in no time.

im unsure if this is due to the pill or due to just being in my 20s and not able to eat whatever i want anymore but honestly i just saw some photos of me at a wedding on the weekend and im finding them very hard to look at.

the advice im seeking is for exercises i can do with an achilles tendonitis injury (i used to run and walk a lot but honestly i didnt notice any weight loss doing this - is this weird?) and for meal ideas since im quite fussy and dislike the idea of just eating chicken with salad every day :')

aware this is quite picky but i know ill be sad if i change my whole lifestyle, if im honest food brings me joy and i stress eat so any advice on how to change this mentality is also very welcome !!

oh and of course any body positivity advice and changing my mindset is also welcome!

affordable headphone advice

20f here and feel im going to get some hate for wanting aesthetic headphones but im not a massive headphones person, ive only ever used in-ear soundcore for sleep or airpods. i keep losing non-wired earbuds so would like to switch to headphones.

id like them to ideally be "cute-looking", not too bulky, affordable (£200 max - is this reasonable?), i dont care too much about sound quality, as long as they are noise-cancelling and sound doesn't leak - comfort is my main concern though, i need them to not hurt my head or ears!

id mainly use them on walks/runs, public transport (to block out extra noise as i get anxiety) and at the gym.

any advice? i have also considered just getting wired earphones but most aren't noise cancelling :/
