JUMPSCARE WARNING
Context: In my country, back when 'Special Education' was for kids who were more intelligent than average, getting a below-88 (out of 100) on even a single subject was a point of humiliation.
And mommy dearest didn't quite like that.
My own dramatization of everyone's favorite combat art.
All of this was hand-drawn on a smartphone so it took like a day to complete lol
Crossover art (the spear being used is the Rotted Fork from Terraria and the one being skewered is a Face Monster)
Sekiro reference thrown in for good measure.
Iteration 1 (detailed stick figure) vs Iteration 2 (silhouette bust). Open to feedback and criticism.
I feel like the bottom panel has some merits of its own but I'm not sure how else to improve upon it. I added a smudge effect but that's about it.
A bit wonky for now, will practice harder once my second stylus arrives.

Accidentally used a different brush for the 2nd figure at the 6th panel. Wondering now if I should've used that brush at the start.
The hardest part in this was writing the Perilous Attack kanji.
Having quite a bit of fun with this. Was a bitch and a half to put together but I think it came out decently at the end.

The way I see it, the Crimson is the true 'cancer' of the world. A hyper-aggressive biome of bio-horrors made out of flesh, bone and pus. The Corruption on the other hand feels like it represents Necrosis. Imagine wet gangrene combined with severe subcutaneous necrosis (DO NOT GOOGLE IMAGE THESE TERMS) and you have the Corruption but on a continental scale.
The chasms look like open wounds that failed to heal, became infected, and are now actively rotting from within. The shadow orbs are like necrotic pustules that harbor the essence of the rot, while the Eater of Worlds feels like either a parasite that set up shop inside the decay or an angry manifestation of the gangrene itself.
I know it's not in-line with the lore, just an observation I picked up while perusing through the wiki.
