Listened to the trilogy, ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! And ¡Tré! (or Trélogy as I like to call it) and it was phenomenal. However, I heard most people hate it. Why? Yes, it was a departure from their two rock operas before, 21st Century Breakdown and American Idiot, but it is still amazing. So, are there any Trilogy lovers like me, or am I alone?
The new single just came out, and I thought I'd share my views as someone who always disliked sombr.
The song was about body dysmorphia, which I have found myself struggling as well. I found myself not loving but also not hating his last single, Potential, but this one? I was good. Like good good. The instrumentation was solid, one part's vocals reminded me a bit of "This Is How I Disappear" by My Chemical Romance a little.
This song felt less like what I usually heard from sombr, generic pop songs with one 15-second catchy part, to a song that I might actually put on from time to time.
If he makes good songs like this, I might become one of you all :D
Overall? Fantano style probably a Strong 2 to a Light 3, because it isn't To Pimp A Butterfly, but if we are talking literally?

Another example of my autism shining through, and winning over me actually studying for once.. So, I recently had the idea of finding the multitracks for Bohemian Rhapsody. After digging around on a Russian website and downloading a zip with a 50/50 chance of malware, I finally had the multitracks. It was leaked back in 2008 when some university students who got access to it by Queen or their label for academic purposes leaked it online. What better thing to do with these than to just recreate the entire song as close as I can to the original! So, I spent over 4 hours, because at some times, some vocals aren't used in the studio release. But, I finally finished it. Note: I don't know why I just muted all the vocals at the beginning lol.
