Made me laugh and I hope the customer service rep did too.

Advice, critique or support is welcomed

5x5 at 225lbs, I think this was set #4. This is after some incline treadmill work (45 min, 12% incline, 3.3mph). Trying to drop body fat while maintaining muscle. Any insight or atta boys are appreciated!

Titrate or stay the course?

Been on 12.5mg for 10 weeks and pretty pleased with its effectiveness. FWIW, just started a BPI vial (3 shots in so fair to judge its impact on me), new formula to me but had success with ProRX previously at 12.5mg. The last 10 days, 2 weeks or so I've been reaching more for snacks and treats. Eating pizza, cake, etc. It was father's day and my family did take a mini vacation out of town where my decisions and routine hadn't been the same. Averaging about .5% weight loss per week over my 12.5mg dose so I'm torn on going up and not having much more of an opportunity to titrate again.

Thoughts?

71lbs down in 9 months

Started Tirzepatide (Zepbound) at 304lbs in August and weighed in at 233lbs in June. Switched to compound after 7 weeks, been using ProRX, BPI and OptioRx (optio not effective for me) during that time.

At my heaviest I was 344lbs the fall of 2023 and from 2019 to August 2025 was never under 300lbs. Except for a short few months in my early 20s, I've always been 275lb+, high school to adulthood. I also bought one of those handle scales in January, and it says I've lost 7.7% of body fat in that time, 32lbs of fat and only 7lbs of muscle, which is great!

I am working on retaining muscle with regular 5am workouts and 200g+ protein days. Focusing on body recomp rather than a number on the scale now and feeling great! Only negative has been my mind not catching up... I still see a big stomach apron, 10%+ body fat I need to trim away and myself as the man I used to be not more than a year ago when I look in the mirror. Still got a ways to go on my journey!

304lbs sw - 71lbs = 233lbs cw

I Need A Verdict

I was told a few days ago during my shoulder workout I was dropping my weights. Implication being I need to set them down, do it quieter, etc. I tried to reenact the crime scene. Do I need to change how I put the weights down? A few notes:

- This is not my working weight, I wanted to film before anyone else was around. Probably DB pressing 65lbs and upright rowing 75lbs at the time, maybe 12 reps each. This is about the same ritual/tempo I use when finished with a set and going into rest time.

- I am a regular and the person who talked to me is also a regular. No interactions before this, however.

- During the exchange, the other person said they "have a noise sensitivity" and I shouldn't "change my gym life based on them". I was seated next to them doing a super set and during my rest time the person motioned to me to take off my headphones and be talked to. Probably about the distance of that incline bench next to me.

- Accoustics suck in this dungeon-like weight room.

- I am pretty experienced in the weight room, HS and collegiate athletic background. I've seen weights get thrown, dropped and high energy sessions many times.

- I'm open to being in the wrong, so tell me your thoughts!

Career change

I (35M) am currently a school principal and am looking to exit education. I am very early in the stages of earning my BS in Finance (knocking out the study.com transfer credits first). Anyone have a similar experience leaving one career field for another? Specifically education for something with finance? My biggest concern is leaving my current job where I make about $110k and having to start over at an entry level finance job.

Been a long road but still a ways to go. Focusing more body recomp and get that BF % down!

Highest recorded weight was 344lbs. I started Tirzepatide in August at 304lbs and have since lost 60lbs, 20% BW! It made me think, in 8 months if someone's bank account grew by 20%, they got 20% more hugs from their kids or spent 20% more time doing what they love, we'd be ecstatic for them. While I'm not where I want to be with my goal weight or body composition, I can appreciate the journey. I hope you appreciate yours!

Also, please note my music selection while hitting the weights 😅

Edit: I actually am at 100lbs lost since my heaviest! Math is hard today.
