met an accident and got a damaged fork. yamaha ordered it and waited 3 months but ended up getting a gold fork. ordering again will take 3 months again.

i initially got my 2026 as all black and thinking if gold fork would look good?

im not even sure if wrapping the fork black is a good idea too?

yamaha sent me a photo of the fork. its yellowish gold instead of orange-y.

Ordered a mounting plate para sa tripod sa isang "local store" sa shopee. "Local store" meaning meron sila physical stores sa mall.

Part sa description ng item is saying na "2 pack" meaning dalawa item dapat makuha ko

July 23.
Item got delivered. pero isa lang ang nareceive ko. I called the local store's main branch and asked bakit isa lang. They checked with their marketing dept at sabi daw kung dalawa daw need ko dapat pinili ko daw yung 2 pcs. Argued na dapat 1pc lang pipiliin ko kasi nga "2-pack" na nasa description. ang sabi nalang return nalang daw at refund.

Received a Notice of Mediation scheduled on Aug 3, 2026 via Microsoft Teams

So nagkausap na kami. included sa meeting yung DTI representative. I stated my side of the story first and DTI asked kung ano remediation gusto ko. sabi ko either refund or give me the 2nd item.

Then nung turn na nung shop representative, aminado daw na may mali sa description na deceptive/misleading.

They offered a full refund kasi wala na daw sila stock and i asked kung isosoli ko yung item, sabi nila i get to keep it.

In addition to this i told DTI to revise their policies regarding this kasi ginagawa lang ng shops usually is sorry at asking to return the item for refund without any repercussions/penalty. Eh sayang na sa oras ng customer yun tayo lagi talo.

imagine, need mo item tapos pag nagkamali yung store sabihin lang sorry at isoli/refund

Sabi pa ng DTI Rep na this is the first time daw na may ganitong complaint. eh sabi ko ako na nag sakripisyo to pursue this for everyone para malaman ng DTI dahil lagi "hassle" ang dahilan kasi ng ibang pilipino mag file ng ganito complaint.

I encourage people to file complaints kasi pag dumadami complaints doon mapapansin ng mga yan na may problema. Always mention at the end na need i-check ng kung sino govt agency mga policies nila para naka on-record

EDIT: i bypassed filing a complaint sa Shopee kasi i feel di naman nila kasalanan yun pero DTI included them anyway nung nareceive ko mediation letter
