Looking to buy a diesel car for daily commute of around 70 80km mix of highway and bit of city traffic
Initially was looking at sonet htx diesel mt it goes for around 13l onroad but safety and the new sonet face lift launching next year made me drop it.
Now looking at venue hx5 and hx7 huge price diff but hx5 lacks many basic features either i will have to get some aftermarket or go for hx7 which is around 15l and hx5 is around 13l.
3xo ax5 variant is vfm all necessary features are included in it, and costs around 13.3l the only things that concerns me is mileage, service and resale value in future other than that i really liked the car. Can anyone with diesel mt tell me what mileage they are getting??

we are debating which car to buy we are looking for a not too big not to small enough for 4 people and the price range should be around 12 to 15 lakhs max, the cars i have shortlisted are compact suvs sonet htk plus diesel variant will be around 12 lakhs on road is missing few things like cruise control and led based had lamps only which can be done after marked, then it has htx variant top model everything is there even an air purifier in car its around 13l onroad , then new 2026 venue on newer platform more safety and new design hx5 variant is around 13l onroad but lacks many features like 60 40 rear seat auto ac smart key and auto ac wireless chargers rear adjustable head rest arm rest etc and upper variant hx7 has all features but costs around 15l onroad very expensive and kia is offering same thing for way less price, other cars i didnt look too much into are 3xo, nexon, kylaq, we are looking for preferably diesel and cng for better mileage and a good car suggest what to do. also the running is mainly from ghz to noida mainly highly daily commune and occasional long highway or expressway runs like once in a month or too.
