AML	Acute myeloid leukemia	the cancer for which the vaccine is
BAT	Best available treatment / therapy
CI	Confidence interval	number that tells us how well the trial is working (lower and less wider the better, looks something like [0.42, 1.01] the 1.01 - 0.42 = 0.59 represents how precise we are, lower the better.
95% CI	95% Confidence interval	if you were to repeat the exact same clinical trial 100 times, you would expect the true treatment effect to fall within this calculated interval in 95 of those trials
CR1	First complete remission	You get treated, treatment works, no more disease
CR2	Second complete remission	Disease came back after CR1, but with treatment you are again now free of the disease
Control arm	Control arm	group of patients receiving treatment being used in trial other than GPS, could be BAT, could be placebo or anything

Event	Event	An event in our scenario is death of a patient
FA	Full Analysis	Same as IA, but at the end when required events are reached
HMA	hypomethylating agent	? (some drug I guess)
mOS	Median overall survival
OS	Overall survival	percentage of patients that are still alive since trial started, higher is better for patients, that means patients are living
3 - Yr - OS	3 years Overall survival
GPS	Galinpepimut-S	Name of the drug being administered
HR	Hazard ratio	metric that compares the rate at which an event happens in a treatment group versus a control group over time, HR = 1.0 rate of events is same in both, HR < 1.0 - GPS works better than BAT HR > 1.0 - GPS works worse than BAT, lower is better
HR@IA	Hazard ratio at Interim Analysis
HRObs	Observed Hazard ratio
IA	Interim Analysis	Mid way analysis of data to determine where we are and should the trial continue or halt (halt could be due to the drug does wonders or the drug is shit)
IRM	Implied Randomization Median	the median overall survival measured from the randomization date, which is what REGAL will report at topline. (from here, thanks u/lachrymoseqq)
k parameter		the k parameter in a Weibull distribution represents the shape parameter. in our case it detects how deaths change over time k < 1 hazard decreases as time goes by k = 1 constant hazard over time k > 1 hazard increases over time
REGAL	-	Name of the clinical trial, The trial evaluates the cancer vaccine galinpepimut-S (GPS) as maintenance therapy for patients in remission
Relapsed	Relapsed	Disease has returned, the treatment might or might not have worked for a brief period of time
-r/R	Relapsed or Refractory	Relapsed: The cancer or disease returned (came back) or signs of the illness reappeared after a period of improvement or remission. Refractory: The cancer or disease is resistant to treatment. This means the illness did not respond to the initial therapy, or the patient stopped responding to the treatment while it was being administered
Salvage therapy	Salvage therapy	treatment given when a disease does not respond to standard treatments, or when the disease returns after a period of remission, all drugs are tried if none of them work, doctors use this
VEN	Venetoclax	Another oral therapy which tries to cure the patient

What does all these DD we see on the platform mean?

People are trying to do the following things

- Create a equation out of all known parameters (and subsequent data as well, like knowing that 78th even happened after X months, how can I fit that into my equations etc)

- Solve that equation using computers and eliminate biologically and statistically impossible scenarios

- Discuss over plausible scenarios in which the trial might fail

After reading all of the terms, I was finally able to understand what the terms in the table means
