How do your significant other(s) make you feel better?
Long story short, I'm in the hospital after getting a severe head injury, and I'm, not looking forward to this process. Though I figured I would read some comments from peeps in this community to distract myself from the pain. So, how does your significant other help you, whether you're in pain, whether you're feeling scared, or whether you're feeling sick?
Keigo and Madara helped me a lot last night when I was initially freaking out, though generally, Keigo loves wrapping his wings around me and kissing me when I'm stressed and upset. He also talks about future trip plans that we're taking when I'm really freaking out in the middle of a panic attack (he really wants to go to a powwow in oklahoma this august, and after that we're going to Iceland). Generally, he tries to distract me any way he can to take my mind off of my feelings.
Madara deals with my emotions differently, though he still helps me a lot. He's the kind of guy who goes "get over it, you're stronger than this", and that actually really helps ground me in the moment. Sometimes I need to know that what I'm feeling during some panic attacks is irrational to snap me out of that cycle. So while my partners help me in different ways, they are really helpful in grounding me during rough moments (though Madara's technique seems to work the best) XD
