Unexpected Matsuri on the Streets of Akihabara | Canon 1V + Mamiya 7 [Portra 400]

I was walking to my hotel with my big bag when I suddenly stumbled upon something absolutely crazy happening on the streets. I barely had time to drop my bags and rush outside. The weather wasn’t amazing, but what I witnessed turned out to be one of the best experiences of all my trips to Japan.

IKE, praca w Anglii i powrót do Polski przed przejściem na emeryturę

Hej, mieszkam obecnie w UK. Do emerytury zostalo mi 5 lat, ale za dwa lata chcialbym zamknac wszystko za soba w UK, sprzedac dom, skonczyc prace i przyjechac do Polski.

W zwiazku z tym zastanawiam sie czy jest mozliwe, aby zalozyc sobie teraz w PL IKE, troche inwestowac przez najblizsze 5 lat a wyplacic w PL po osiagnieciu wieku emerytalnego.

Czy to jest w ogole mozliwe? Gdzies czytalem o podwojnym podatku, ze UK moze nalozyc podatek od inwestycji.

Katsuoji Temple with bike!

Hey!

I’ll be staying in Osaka near Dobutsuen-mae. From there, I’d like to visit Katsuoji Temple as early as possible. I was thinking about renting a bike, possibly an electric one (although I’d prefer a regular bike), and cycling there.

First of all, getting there by public transport by 8:00 AM is almost impossible, and I don’t want to take a taxi. Secondly, I think I’ll be faster and more flexible on a bike.

The nearest bikes I found are Docomo Bike Share e-bikes. The issue is that the last station where I could return the bike is roughly halfway to the temple. I’m wondering whether it would be possible to park the bike near the temple for an hour or so. I know Japan is quite strict about bicycle parking, and that I can’t just leave a bike wherever I want.

Also, is there perhaps a better way to get there?

I understand that with the Docomo e-bike I would need to pay for 30- or 60-minute increments and extend the rental if I use it longer. Honestly, I don’t mind, since I assume it would still be cheaper than renting a regular bike the day before, especially because most rental shops will be closed by the time I need it (around 6:00 AM).

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is this a screen protector or the screen?

I have a A6500, the screen was very scratched up so I bought a screen protector to prevent it from getting scratched even further, the instructions on the screen protector said to remove the original screen protector, but I'm starting to doubt if this is a screen protector or part of the screen?

Im scared or continuing to peel, I googled it a bit and it says they come with a screen protector from the factotry, is that what I'm peeling?

Any guidance would be great 🙏

Miami #1 [Canon 1V + 35L | Mamiya 7 + 65 : Portra 400, Gold 200, Ektar 100, CineStill800]

Last month I had the privilege of visiting Miami, Florida. It was my first time in the USA. Surprisingly, I took way more photos than I expected. Here are some of them.

I might share more if you find them interesting.

In terms of gear, I used:

After spending time to know the camera, found the Uncompressed raw an EXCELLENT choice for some areas where I want ALL details to play. However, shooting with JPEG X.fine and getting those 60+ mp and transferring/downloading right away, feels like a miracle, this is completely subjective, my JPEGs are beyond quality. The difference from the A7CII to this high resolution sensor I found to night and day. I don't own the high end glass as you can see but enough to enjoy my both kits, the primes for light carry and zooms for complete range.

I been reading about the new Sony A7RVI and honestly can't find anything to change this camera. I was looking to get the A7RC but found a 40% discount on the A7RV (new) locally, and couldn't let go that deal. Somehow, I don't notice a big difference in size, and shooting with this EVF and tilt Screen has been completely enjoyable. I shoot family, street, landscape and portraits. Excellent group Sony Alpha.

Zoom: Sigma 24-70 II and Sony 70-200 II

Prime: Zeiss 85 f1.8, Zeiss/Sony 55 f1.8, Sony 40 f2.5 and 24 f2.8.
