Stop ordering cappuccinos if you don’t actually know what a cappuccino is.

“There’s so much foam!”
“Why does it feel so light?”
“There’s not a lot of milk..”
“The other Starbucks usually puts way more milk.”

Every time this happens, I remake it as a latte without saying anything. And all of a sudden the customers are happy. So if you want a latte, because you think a cappuccino doesn’t have foam for some reason, then please start ordering lattes.

I don’t know how many times I have to explain to customers what a cappuccino is and still get met with the “i KNOW what a cappuccino is, this one isn’t a cappuccino.” And what they really wanted is a latte.

Finally free from my Payday loans/Cash Advances!!

Fuck payday loans and cash advance apps. I hope that everyone who has gotten stuck in the horrible cycle of a scam that they are will find themselves out one day 🤍 It is possible. It just sucks to get out of.

A little over a year ago I was in-between jobs, struggling, and needed money. Eventually, that lead to over 10+ loans/cash advances that were being taken out each paycheck, only to be re-borrowed because I would be left with nothing after the money was settled. For MONTHS I thought I would never escape. $50 advance became $100, became $200, became $400. And that was just from one individual app. I had so many downloaded, so many separate loans, all draining my checks each pay period, keeping me tied to the cycle.

With A LOT of overtime at my work, selling things on the side to make some savings, and being gifted stocks by my employer that I partially cashed out to help with the payments, I am officially DONE with all of my payday loans/cash advances. All accounts deleted permanently. I will not be looking back EVER. My money is mine, no one else’s. I have learned my lesson. Now I can truly begin saving for my future 🥺🤍

For those of you stuck-you will absolutely get through this, it is possible to escape. It isn’t easy at all, but if you are determined, it will happen!! And for those of you considering even using these kinds of apps/websites-DONT!!! RUNN AWAY!!! RUN!!!!!!!!

“not greeting loud enough”

seems like DMs are running out of things to complain about. whole team got a documented coaching because even though we were all greeting during peak, we weren’t “giving it our all” and “putting passion into each greeting.” aka, not loud enough.

“every single partner should be heard by each individual customer at the door to ensure total customer satisfaction.” oh! okay!

I feel like I may be having a case of horrible face blindness …but since the demo was released, I’ve changed my Mii at least 8 or 9 times because I genuinely do not think she looks anything like me and have no idea what I’m doing wrong…any help to make her more accurate would be very appreciated!!! And if you feel like it does look like me, please tell me. All help is appreciated! Thank you!!

▲ 13 r/FAFSA

Here are the details:

I (22F) have been accepted into ASU for pre-vet medicine. I work at Starbucks and they offer a scholarship program thru ASU for their partners to receive a full-ride free. I meet all the requirements except my parents refuse to fill out my Fafsa, which is a requirement if I want to receive my scholarship.

My mother originally declined to fill it out a few months ago. After explaining to her that it is a requirement, she decided she would. Then, she couldn’t log into her account that she made 15 years ago when she attended college. She said she would contact support to get her account back, but never did. She could not make a new account. We got into a huge fight over this. My step-dad decided to take over, said he would “look at the Fafsa” to see “if he could fill it out.” I was confused. Why couldn’t he fill it out? Apparently, they have some problems with their taxes and not really doing them…for a long time. Okay…I tried to fill out new forms with his information but I needed his social security number. He has not given it to me yet. He is now saying he wants to “speak to an accountant” and “figure some things out” before he fills them.

I need both the 25-26 form and 26-27 form BEFORE May 18th. They clearly are not trying to fill these forms out. They never filled them out either in 2022 when I graduated HS, even though it was a requirement for graduation. They were able to persuade my dean/HS administration to let me graduate without them. They have always been on my ass about “going to college!!” but clearly it wouldn’t have been an option because they likely wouldn’t have filled it out any of these past years when I would need it even more so for student loan aid. Now that I have the opportunity to attend college debt-free and actually got accepted, I am really excited to do so and have a chance at an actual career. My parents have never been the type to help in with anything in life except letting me live with them rent-free. My mother took me off of her insurance as soon as I turned 18. I have a feeling they are not actually planning on helping me with this either. I told them if I can get those forms filled out, my advisor told me I wouldn’t be able to reapply until I’m 24, when I can claim myself as an independent. That is heartbreaking to me.

What can I do?? Is there any way I can claim myself as an independent now?? I read the rules for claiming yourself as an independent and I am aware it only applies for very serious situations..but if my parents truly refuse to fill out forms because they’re afraid of the IRS coming after them…is my only hope waiting another 2 years to achieve my dreams? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Edit: I forgot to mention, my real dad is dead. I only have my step-dad. So any advice regarding using my real father is null and void. I didn’t have contact with him anyways because he left my mom and me when I was 2.
