Today’s finished meeting doodle, pencil

I saw u/Vessel-0 post earlier in the week and decided to try it. It was simple but the effect is awesome. Proud of this one

I’m so excited I got these today! They feel awesome and for how cheap they were none of them were dry and they look super full

Just a few ones I started with. I really need to get a good pack of gel pens. Any recommendations on the lower price range?

Help with a bus pass and cat supplies $75 total

Hey folks, I finally got a job at a grocery store after constant applications for months. I need bus fare to get there and back until my first paycheck. $40 will get me 10 days of there and back.

I’m saving every last penny I can in order to get my two cats back. They’re currently living at a friend’s house about 3.5 hours away, and I’m paying her $100/month for caring for them. This includes food, litter, and meds my 18 year old cat needs.

She’s works at a Walmart so she can get the cat supplies at work for a discount, so an Amazon wishlist would actually cost more.

I’m looking for $75 to cover a bus pass and cat supplies. I can do Venmo or sign up for Zelle.

Thank you for reading and if you’re able to help. Even if you can’t, some good luck vibes on the new job starting smoothly ☺️

To those who helped with pairing my roasted tomato, garlic, and cheese loaf; I made French onion and it was the PERFECT pairing!

I appreciate all the ideas! Absolutely going to pair this with other soups when the cooler weather comes around. I went with French onion mainly because my boyfriend was sick, so I wanted to steer clear of dairy based options. After helping me chop a billion onions and having a few bowls worth, he was feeling cleared up and a lot better!

She made it!! Handmade brioche using handmade butter and ricotta with roasted tomatoes and garlic

Strenuous steps, but she came out well!! I can’t believe I did this all by hand!

Something I don’t get about Leviathans

So when Castiel came to earth, he had to learn how to do human things. Didn’t understand phones, nuances, transportation. Angels were watching over humans for centuries and still had trouble with common knowledge.

Leviathans were older than souls, and were locked away in Purgatory for who knows how long. When the first one had to learn what a surgeon was and that’s how to access organs to eat. How is it that within like two weeks (maybe less) did they set up a whole network of being able to track down Sam and Dean following credit cards of their aliases? That is some in-depth human knowledge stuff. I know they were introduced and very smart and cunning, but seems out of place

A dasher got offended when I offered to get them a cold beverage or snack before they finished shopping

I only use DoorDash to get groceries from a place a mile away. (Can’t do it myself) I don’t normally order any bulk items besides a family pack of chicken thighs. It’s very hot here lately in Minnesota so I always offer if I can add a cold beverage or snack for them before the shopping is complete. Some people take me up on it, others just say no thank you. I always tip the recommended amount

Today I did end up getting a few more items than usual and offered, the dasher never responded to the message so I quick put a bottle of water and a snickers on there a little after halfway done with shopping in case they didn’t see my message.

They pulled up and gave me my groceries and I pulled out the stuff to offer it to them and they snapped back at me “I don’t need your damn charity for your last minute things, just give me your pin”

I was a little taken aback and apologized. I’m sure they must’ve just been having a bad day, but dayum!

Edit: This post got an overwhelming amount of attention. The dude was probably hot and exhausted, I’m not going to report him, and next time I won’t add things last minute unless they respond to my message or I’ll add it at the original purchase.

Just started learning yesterday. I missed a few loops and it’s not the best, but I’m already obsessed

Just started learning basics an hour ago! Took me a while to figure out how to place my hands, but I’m pretty proud of whatever the heck this will be

I figure I just going to keep going until the motions become easier and then actually learn how to make something!

Looking for help with some supplemental food

Hey. I’ve recently moved into a sober house (121 days sober for the first time in 10 years!) and I’m waiting on housing support/assistance that was supposed to be coming in on the 1st, but there was an error in the application that I just got fixed today so it’ll be an extra week until I get it. $25 on DoorDash credits would be insanely helpful. This is my grocery list.

In full transparency, I did just recently have someone help me on r/assistance, and I was able to get some big ticket items like a big pack of chicken thighs, squash, potatoes and rice. If I could get these few extra items I can definitely stretch it the full two weeks.

Thank you so much if you’re able or willing to help

Time for a rewatch!

I’ve been a hardcore fan since 2008. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve rewatched the show over the years. I got until about season 11/12 and I stopped for good. It’s been many years now but I think it’s time to delve back in. I was going to start around the Lilith era, but I decided a full run from the beginning would be fun.

Dad’s on a hunting trip and he hasn’t been home for a few days….

Asking for a little bit to get some groceries while I wait for my housing support to kick in on the 1st

Hey there

I’m asking for $40 or more to get me groceries to supplement me until my support kicks in the first of the month.

Lil backstory: I’m an alcoholic and 117 days sober for the first time in 10+ years. In February I checked myself in yet again to the mental health ward at the hospital. I’ve been there a few times but never took the steps after to maintain my mental health and sobriety. This time I did. Spent 15 days in the ward, moved into a IRTS facility for 95 days there immersed in therapy and treatment.

I’m now living in a sober house that doesn’t have classes or meetings, so I set myself up for a day treatment program. 6 hours of therapy 5 days a week. Sobriety and good mental health is my full time job right now.

I’m waiting for housing support to kick in and I’ll have SNAP to take care of my food, but right now I’m living on the few pantry items they provide. I know how to make the most out of ingredients and make the dollar stretch far. I’ll comment with the list of what I would get. The store is about 3/4 a mile away, so take away the delivery fee because I’ll walk and that’s my total.

Edit: I forgot to put how to receive. Either Venmo or DoorDash credits would be ideal
