Is parrying just high-risk-no-reward unless you're built around it?

Enemies are so fast and have so much poise that it's likely you get one safe hit in before they restart their combo, and it's also unlikely going for another hit will interrupt their combo, which you will then soak to the face.

I've played a couple characters up to lvl ~20 and it's almost always better to just dodge and reposition. I guess you could gear your whole character around on-parry and on-stagger but seems way more effective to just do anything else lol

Sorry I haven't played in a while, how do you find the extractions this patch?

I just played a solo for the first time in like 10 weeks and I ratted like a punk shooting people in the back until the bounty extracted and I could see how to get out of the match.

What do you need to do to find the extractions this time around?

Just got to see the Classic Death once again

A bolt of polymorph from a poly mage offscreen, that you can't see, already going incredibly fast - zaps you into the 1HP sheep, which instantly takes damage from something else and kills you.

Sigh. Such a good run too. Had just defeated the Alchemist and was heading to get the wand-stone from the Master of Masters. Had infinite black holes and circle of vigor - I was cruising. And the seed had an infinite-lumidrill and teleporter in like the first store.

I'm always tempted to just run the "Always Edit Wands Anywhere" mod, just because the game opens up so much once you can do that... but it's cheating.

That said, the polymorph-instant-death is so hard to mitigate in any way it makes you want to cheat back lol
