Pain question

Since being diagnosed at 5 weeks pp with bladder prolapse, I have been told again and again by a midwife, a nurse, two physical therapists and a urogynocologist that there is no way the prolapse would cause pelvic pain.

In fact, my physical therapists insists that if I did not experience the pelvic pain I would never have noticed the prolapse.

What have other young mums experienced in this regard?

PP Prolapse— when does it get better?

I’m 14 weeks pp, diagnosed with bladder prolapse at 5 weeks.

I am totally devastated mentally. Utterly shattered and overwhelmed. I can’t think of any thing except the brokenness of my body and my deep desire to be healed and fixed.

If you’ve experienced symptomatic pp prolapse and have a hopeful story, please share here or dm me. Please tell me about healing, about a normal life, about future babies. I feel so alone.

Weeping in such darkness and fear.

Prolapse— when does it get better?

I am 3 months pp and was diagnosed with bladder prolapse at 5 weeks.

I am beyond devastated and cannot cope with this new reality. The grief and pain consumes every second of every day, I have nothing left to give my children.

Women who have experienced pp prolapse, please share stories of hope, of physical improvement, of having babies later on.

Please, I’m so desperate to know this isn’t darkness and brokenness forever.

Pregnancy with preexisting grade 1 prolapse

I’m wondering if any mums could share their stories of pregnancy with a pre existing prolapse? What was the pregnancy like and what was the post partum recovery like? Have any mums had several children with this condition?

Pregnancy with prolapse

I’m wondering if any mums have had pregnancies with pre existing prolapse? please share your stores with me, from your health to your Catholic faith. I am especially curious of Catholic mums, as it is so complicated weighing our duty to open fertility and very terrifying health conditions which make further pregnancies complicated.

Postpartum question MOMS PLEASE REPLY

I’m 3 months postpartum with my 3rd baby.

I had a beautiful uneventful vaginal delivery with zero tearing. I felt fantastic + normal until 5 week postpartum when I developed unbelievable pelvic pain. Simultaneous I noticed a bulge beneath my urethra. I went to a pelvic floor physical therapist who examined me laying and standing and said very minor prolapse. I went to a midwife nurse who said very unconcerning minor prolapse.

Then I went to the best urogynocologist in my world renowned health care system— I was told “prolapse ruled out”.

Then I follow up messaged the doctor and asked for more information. She responded, “No prolapse on exam. Or grade 1.”

My issue is I can see and feel significant tissue beneath my urethra which wasn’t there previously. And I’m having ongoing pelvic pain which hasn’t reduced.

I have asked for another exam by my PFPT and she has said very minor prolapse, even occasionally she has felt no prolapse. When I asked again about the urethral tissue she said, “that is your urethra.”

I am feeling very confused. I look and feel very different in my vagina, but am repeatedly told “very minor prolapse.”

Could there really be no connection to the anatomical differences I see and feel and the pelvic pain?

Why is grade 1 considered “no prolapse“ by this urogynocologist?

Has anyone else experienced this post partum?
