If Saiki k were not a comedy, what darker aspects would you like to see more fleshed out?

Obviously Saiki k is a really funny comedy, but I find some aspects of it to be more grim.
But naturally because of the genre they’re turned into gags. For example like teruhashi and her brother, kuboyasu’s time at juvie, the time loop, teruhashi’s general life etc.
what do you think?

“Moonknight is literally schizophrenic Batman!!!!”

- I acknowledge his parallels to Batman and how he’s based off The Shadow who’s based off Batman but this sentiment still pisses me off. He doesn’t even have schizophrenia (in most runs)

Is anyone else’s pipsqueak also ignoring lore?

Like along with the other awful stuff (the kissing, no dialogue, etc.) when there IS dialogue it goes against the established canon even if it’s in the character description.
