some sanrio x cookie run costume pair ups post

lmao dw I'll still be doing Chess Choco as Kiki and Lala, got sidetracked for a bit. Should be sketching them out right away after posting this

I told you extremely niche and obscure Sanrio characters are encouraged lol. (also side note: Milky Way and Hoshinowaguma should fit but her canon pair up costume is fine with me, plus Hoshinowaguma's one of Sanrio's niche characters sooo.. yeah)

because devsis it's not that hard without throwing darts lol (looks at Entremet. I know she and Angel Chiffon were chosen maybe because of the My Melody and Kuromi Netflix series where they both own bakery shops but even then, Entremet doesn't match Kuromi at all lmfao.)

also, do encourage very obscure and niche sanrio characters for the pair up costumes!!

"Why Caramel Choux as Aggretsuko?" For the absolute hilarity of it LMFAO. Both are workers, and probably have a lot in their plate. Plus I imagine Caramel Choux doing the same and taking out her frustrations over karaoke

For Chococat, I was conflicted whether I'd choose Strawberry Crepe or Witchberry. But in the end I chose Strawberry Crepe because Chococat and Strawberry Crepe are lil geniuses teehee

For My Sweet Piano, it was originally Cream Puff Cookie who gets paired up with MSP until the very last minute I remembered Cotton Candy Cookie exist so- yeah

My criteria for the pair up is basically match said Sanrio character aesthetic and personality (doesn't matter if they're tall or short (aka, don't pull an Entremet 💀)

I know it's not like a sprite edit but I feel like drawing the whole thing so :p

idk if I should make this an art series where I make sanrio character costumes for cookies (that I think pairs well and not picked semi-random <looks at Entremet>)

Tuxedo Sam and Peppermint seems like a no brainer to me since so I decided to pick this first :p

Let's just say Mitya turns out to be like- yknow, not human and all that (definitely not still high on copium) would you wonder what his bond/relationship would be with Albedo, Durin and to an extension Wanderer (aka, other beings who aren't human too)

I know, they're just theories and may not be true at the end but again, please bare with me 🥹🥹 it's fun to discuss things anyway

2 things I like to talk about, so please bare with me if any of what I'm saying is straight up dumb lol.

1. Do you guys think Mitya's popularity will grow by the time 7.2 drops? popular as in "a whole ass street and mall dedicated to him in his birthday" popular, Wanderer-levels of popular. I get the feeling he'll get that treatment later on if we see more of his lore.

We have seen a lot of praise from many players just by 7.0 alone. Kinda scared it'll reach to that point but hey, at least I'll proudly say that I've been a Mitya fan since the PV, heh.

2. I remember back then, there was leaked info about Mitya having another name(?) PLEASE correct me on this as my memory is really fuzzy. I do think it makes sense, since the name 'Mitya' is an affectionate nickname of 'Dmitry'. I'ma be honest, it's a 'no shit' moment that Mitya's actual name is Dmitry, 'Mitya' is the nickname that kinda stuck with him and adapted it to become his actual name I guess🤷‍♀️.

Or maybe the leak is just pure utter bs or I hallucinated that and I'm just spit balling because I love Mitya so much lol plus we already have a character with a russian nickname ('Alyosha' is an affectionate nickname of 'Alexey'/'Aleksei') so that possibility is down the drain. Why did I talk about it anyway? it's fun.

(will be using Lumine as the traveler example, as I play as her)

maaaybe just be me, but do feel like Lumine knows Mitya's not human right from the get-go, so she wouldn't be surprise if Mitya trusts her enough to tell her about his origin. (which I imagine is something he never spoken of before to anyone).

Lumine will probably be like:

"Oh I already knew."

and Mitya will go:

"Hm, not surprising. How though?"

and Lumine will go:

"It's the symbol on your hair, You're not the first angel I met. "

Don't know why I'm pointing it out as... duh, we're talking about the traveler here, of course she'll know lol.

Absolutely shout out to whoever's in charge with the character design for them. As a huge fan of cyberpunk aesthetics, they really did a good job encapsulating it.

Right now, my favorite designs in SCOOP are Povidone-Iodine, Cutter Circuit, and freaking Time Shadow. I wish Mochaccino Cookie and Cutter Circuit are playable in the future, I really do enjoy their characters
