How to stop spam calls from VERIZON

I own a private uncirculated number, it cost me in 2020 $120 to buy it. 2 days ago I was in the process of ordering FIOS but paused half way through the steps as I can't confirm a date until I'm finally moved to the new location. I didn't finish registering online, but I guess like the unethical business Verizon is, they collected data from the form and now I'm getting spam calls.

I've been getting spam calls from Verizon non stop. I haven't received SPAM calls in 5 years.

How do I stop this? I also received calls late at night.

First time using a ONE piece inshore rod today

25+ years of fishing experience

I fished this morning at a surf/inlet and was packing up to head to work when a fellow fisherman insisted I try out his 1 piece fishing rod (Black Widow?). MY GOD. I own 4-5 mid to high end fishing rods, I HAVE NEVER FELT this kind of sensitivity before. I could literally distinguish between different type of algae hitting the line. I felt every little bite, every little drag/bump in the sand.

I was really done buying fishing gear this year but I never felt this kind of responsiveness before. I feel like an idiot for not trying a one piece rod before.

Do you own a 1 piece surf/inshore rod?

Any recommendation for either 8ft/9ft one piece surf/ inshore rod?

currently own ODM/Shimano/Black Hole/Century+

Need advice from DADs on how to approach the conversation about separation with your kids

It is time. I have endured as much as I can and I was hoping I could tolerate my living situation until my kid reached high school, but I can't live with the mother anymore.

I won't go into details, but the background is I found out my SO was living a double life a few months after my child was born. We have lived under the same roof different beds, so my child doesn't know what loving parents are, which ruined so many memories I wanted to create as a father.

My kid is 6yo now, but I cannot take it anymore. If you have any advice or guidance on how to do the sitdown/talk with my kid about living in different homes,
"dada loves you, mama loves you" talk please I'm all ears. Have anyone hired a child therapist for this talk?

fact #1- Some will suggest counseling. That route is not possible, even worse than integrity issues, she is a distant detached mother. Countless times I've witnessed strangers be a better parent to my child. I don't want to trash the mother, so I'm not going to say anything else, just know, it is PRETTY BAD.

Fact#2- I made a mistake by waiting too long. I know but my child's happiness was more important than mine.

Not allowed to charge at the American Dream Mall

I was turned away from charging at the American Dream Mall. There were people charging and I was told they are "World cup ticket holders". I guess people that live here and give the mall business are second class citizens.

Honesty is not working need advice

Hi, I have unfortunately taken a 5 year hiatus to provide all day care for a family member with acute lung disorder. Medically the said family member is now stable and no longer in need of constant care.

I'm now returning to the workforce, and at first I was honest about the gap in employment, but in America, sacrificing your career for caring to someone is looked as a crime.

3 interviews had an issue with this, although I'm quite capable and kept up with the technology in my field(not hard to do is also my hobby).

previous professional contacts have moved on to outside of my field due to AI growth.

My next step is to "embellish" my resume or being forced to start fresh in a different field

NJ real state legal question

Location: New Jersey

Firstmost, thank you for your time.

I find myself in a difficult situation.

I live in New Jersey, my lease expired some time ago and I'm currently month to month. Due to some work requirements I needed a signed letter from my landlord, and he leveraged the position to request a new lease contract.

I asked for a few days to decide, and I received in the mail 2 letters, one to end the current monthly agreement and asking me to vacate, the second letter is the new pay grade for monthly agreement, which is confusing.

Then later after speaking to my landlord he said he is more comfortable drafting a new short term lease which I have agreed to the amount and the length of stay. This was in text, written.

He hasn't sent me a new contract and I'm one week left in the 30 days notice to vacate. Am I going to have to emergency move? I have a family.

thank you for your time.
