I’m looking for raw slavic hair — medium brunette, baby fine, straight. I need ideally a couple of packs of tape-ins, or a bundle of hair.

Also looking for someone in the UK, NY, the DMV area, or France. (or hell, the net is wide enough, so why not make it wider?) who can make me tape-ins in the future.

Does anyone have experience with a vendor that is reliable and will sell to me as a client?

To be clear: I’m looking for raw—never bleached, dyed, or otherwise chemically processed.

I’m normally on a pump but on an unplanned break due to supply issues.

I have access to Lantus (luckily) and Novolog and half-unit syringes.

But I’m used to the Tandem app and knowing at a glance how much IOB I have. And doing some math based on that.

Does anything like this exist? Been a long time since I have looked into it!

I’m a researcher who draws on a lot of different kinds of source materials and artifacts. I have been hamstrung by off-the-shelf solutions and like many other researchers, I’ve realized that I need to figure out how to build a database that meets my needs.

I am wondering if this community can give any pointers on what I can do as next steps to
• get a sense of how I might approach this (database model? sqlite? docker container? making my own app or web app? etc.)
• get a sense of what is possible with my needs
• point me towards things to learn and resources (books? websites? courses? consultants? coffee chats or paid calls with humans who can help me?)

I am dealing mostly with unstructured data, and have a sense of the information architecture or structure within and around the source materials that I work with.

Basically, I have a trove of useful inputs for each project. Each information source is associated with a document or file that is the “main” asset associated with the information source.

Media type wise, this can be a pdf document (like a saved academic article, white paper, exported Keynote or PowerPoint or word processing or Google doc, a video, an audio recording, a graphic, a photograph. The exact file type and media type are something that I can change depending.

These are all associated with types of metadata, annotations, and often associated assets (like a transcript of the video or audio), as well as more granular excerpts that I create for sense-making and/or reporting/briefing/presentation purposes.

I am currently writing out the specs for each kind of source material for my system. I would like to be able to more easily enter, retrieve, find, and update the annotations and associated files over time.

I am designing my own little GUI for the database, by which I mean I am creating the page layout and data structure that I need for the main kinds of source materials that I work with.

I am just clueless about this kind of thing.

I would love to:
— Access materials for use in different reports and pieces of writing
— Understand if I can get all of my materials indexed for text search
— Learn how to create a controlled vocabulary for tags and important metadata categories, as well as how to update this as the structure of a report emerges from the study of an evolving corpus
— Know if this is something that I can engage with people in certain fields or consultants or job titles to figure out at least a reasonable brief and budget for what is needed beyond the prototype

I have a lot to learn but I hope that you all will be gentle with me, and if this is clear as mud, let me know what kinds of questions I should be able to answer about this!

Trying to decide if I’m getting myself in too deep with someone who is never going to be okay with the fact that I don’t have a usable brain or body without medication.

I have been without medication due to pharmacy issues twice in the past year, for about a week at a time. I basically do everything that I can to be pleasant and peaceful, and force myself to run errands and get out of the house for 2-3 hours every day even though I’m barely able to keep my eyes open.

I’m treated like I am an addict, and told that the issues that I experienced when my supplies were disrupted (despite meticulous planning on my part) are down to my “life choices.”

This has been eye opening. And I am sure it comes up for others here. I’m open to any advice.

I have a letter from my US psychiatrist and a copy of my normal prescription. I was supposed to be able to have my prescription brought by a family member but that is no longer the case. I need to obtain a 30-day 70mg Elvanse prescription ASAP as I am a severe case and have been unable to function at all—barely able to keep my eyes open and mostly in bed trying to stay calm because I need to work and take care of my type 1 diabetes and I am scared to death.

I know this is a long shot. Is there any chance that I can find a private psychiatrist to help me, and if so, how should I go about this? Thank you.

I’m so confused. Long time Tandem pumper. Around years. Pumping since 2008 and previously with Medtronic.

I have always done well with Varisoft with Tandem; no 90-degree infusion sites work for me as I am lean and they nearly always kink.

I had to switch to the XC 30s for a bit when traveling long term, and I had a terrible time. The cannula would always pop out of the site, the sites were leaking and gave me my first ever lipohypertrophy bumps which are pretty darn big given how I only used a box of them and rotated locations, and they took me OUT of commission for the better part of the day when they were failing overnight or it wasn’t clear until after several boluses that they were failing.

I have to change my sites every 2 to 2.5 days as I get redness, swelling, and sometimes even pus after 2 days, though my insurance is no longer covering this so I’m stretching them out lately. Usually I have the beginnings of an infection by day 3, but no leaking or lipohypertrophy.

I just had a Varisoft fail after 24 HOURS and it has been swollen the same way the XC 30s were when they leaked and left me with big old bumps. The cannula seemed to be bent and moving in and out of the hole in my skin, which is not typical with these sites for me.

Has anyone else noticed a change? Did you develop any sudden issues with lipohypertrophy after years of none? Does Trusteel still create this issue?
