First time going on a cruise. Any suggestions for

I'm trying to find out whether my situation is unusual or if others have had similar experiences with OCI applications submitted through BLS Surrey or Vancouver.

I applied for OCI in June 2025 and it's now been over a year. My application status still shows:

"Application is not acknowledged at the Mission/FRRO yet."

BLS tells me they forwarded the application to the Indian Consulate and have no additional information. The Consulate only responds with automated emails most of the time. After repeated follow-ups, I was told that my application is still awaiting clearance from the "competent authority," but nobody will explain what that means or why it is taking so long.

A few questions for those who recently applied through Surrey or Vancouver:

• When did you apply for OCI?
• How long did it take to receive your OCI card?
• Did your application ever show "not acknowledged at Mission/FRRO" for an extended period?
• Were you asked for additional documents or clarification?
• Did anyone receive an explanation for delays from the Consulate?
• Has anyone experienced delays longer than a year?

I'm especially interested in hearing from people who applied in 2024 or 2025 through Surrey or Vancouver.

Is there any home assistant integration or app to create a master inventory if all devices with all hardware/software information?

is there any lighter alternative to retropie? It takes over 500MB on smart TV storage , than there is no space left to install anything else
