Question about Natural Gas lines

Im in the utility industry, specifically Electrical distribution/transmission. Lots of protective devices and what not.

Just starting wondering, what type of protection devices exist in natural gas lines running through a community?

Say for example a pipe were to be damaged and opened to the atmosphere, or worse, some kind of ignition. Would pressure sensors detect a pressure change and activate some kind of remote isolation or shutoff to prevent a chain reaction back upstream to the source?

Just curious how these systems are protected during emergency scenarios. Similar to electrical faults and such.

Question about Token copy and Gary

If I have [[Twilight Diviner]] on field, and reanimate [[Gray Merchant of Asphodel]]
will the life drain look like the following:

Twilight = 1 Black
Gary 1 = 2 Black
Gary 2 = 2 Black

X=5 (Twice) = 10

Ping 3 Opponents for 10 damage and gain 30 life?

New Player - First Time LGS Casual Commander

Some Context:

Started with Arena, played through some of the starter stuff. Started watching a bunch of videos of people playing commander and then deck building tips.

Couple weeks ago I bought Revival Trance Precon. Wanted a reanimator style deck. Since then I have been basically just goldfishing and looking at other Revival Trance decks that are upgraded. Put together my own deck on archidek and goldfished a bunch with different cards and switching stuff around.

So I bought about 20 or more singles and swapped out some cards, but I have yet to actually play with the deck, just goldfishing at home or online. Also been searching up and reading on rules for things that might pop up in my deck to understand how some of my triggers activate or interact with each other.

I want to go to casual commander night at the LGS but im wondering if its in poor taste to play with the deck I have put together since it isnt a precon anymore but it also prob isnt super optimized bc I coulsnt get certain cards I wanted. I just found when goldfishing the precon I got a lot of cards in hand or in graveyard that really did nothing for me, so I wanted to swap stuff out that makes it feel like i have more flexibility in a game.

I just don't know how it would be recieved if I show up with my deck while also being new. I dont really know its strength, and i know its not only precons at this casual commander but I dont want to be recieved poorly. Idk just looking for suggestions or advice I guess.

Appreciate any help.

Deck List below.

Question about "Whenever one or more" Triggers and Recursion

[[Celes, Rune Knight]]
[[Karmic Guide]]
[[Sister Hospitaller]]
[[Sun Titan]]
[[Priest of Fell Rites]]
[[Anger]]
[[General Leo Cristophe]]
[[Alesha, Who Laughs at Fate]]

I am trying to understand how many times Celes' ability will trigger during recursion.

Hypothetical Scenerio:

Return Karmic Guide
Return Sister
Return Sun Titan
Return Priest of Fell Rites
Anger is in graveyard so Priest has haste
Sac Priest
Return General Leo
Returns Alesha

Will Celes ability trigger for each individual creature that returns in this sequence, resulting in 6 counters

OR

Would she trigger two times? Once for Karmic guide entering and bringing back itself + more
and then triggering on the Priest Sacrifice

OR

Would it only trigger one time since one or more creatures were returned this turn?

New to MTG - Suggestions

Been watching some videos on Commander and the rules and different decks and I haven't bought anything myself yet. Wondering where i should start with regards to deck complexity.

I have played deck builder games with different synergies and am familiar to some extent with how to build and play a deck. Primarily from Slay the Spire and games like it. I also have several hundred hours in WH40k Rogue Trader, BG3 and PF WotR.

I understand the basic fundamentals of MTG from watching some commander video and watching games play out but I am wondering what kind of deck to start with complexity wise.

A coworker mentioned something about strength levels 1-5. 5 being meta. He suggested maybe getting a deck around a 3, but I haven't really read online or heard the decks described this way in some of the videos I watched.

He explained the different strategies and way i can play based on the deck and coloring/synergies. Thematically I like LotR and WH40k just based on their lore and my knowledge of those worlds, so curious if any of those decks would be recommended to start.

Appreciate anyone taking the time to read the above and provide some insight!

Food and stuff

Been living here my whole life, just seen a clip of an insane cheesesteak sandwich.

Do we have anything like that here? My mind went to steak and cheese at subway but im wondering do we actually have a quality Philly cheesesteak style sandwich spot in town?

Question about Transitioning Holdings

So I have XEQT in my personal RRSP, Along with CSU.

I have the following in my TFSA.

BRK

VCE

VGG

XEF

I have about 30k in my TFSA and can make about 10-15k deposit into my TFSA. I want to transition everything except BRK to XEQT when I move that cash in there.

Is there a point in trying time the sale and purchase of my current holdings and XEQT? Do i just pull the trigger regardless or is there any reasonable benefit to trying to maximize the gains I have from my other 3 holdings while also minimizing that initial cost of XEQT?

Those 3 etfs tend to follow xeqt to some extent anyway so I feel it would just be wasting time in the market by trying to time this switch.

Looking for Bar/Coffee recommendations

I grew up here but aside from a few restaurants the only time I've spent down town was at the clubs in my late teens early 20s.

Im looking for a bar or coffee place that has the vibe that would allow just reading a book while enjoying a beer/coffee, ideally on a patio, outside, overlooking the Harbour or some other nice view.

Nothing really comes to mind but I haven't been down town in years either so.

Question/Advice

Since school my social life has been pretty non-existent outside of work. Stick to myself and do stuff with my dog. Ill go to work events but only after a certain period of time has elapsed at work where by I am comfortable with the people attending and feel like I know them to an extent.

Once I am actually comfortable with people, I am extroverted I sometimes think to a fault lol. Very animated, very enthusiastic and if I am comfortable with 1 person I generally act "myself" when with that 1 person plus a couple others I may not know.

Ive noticed that after about 6 months or more in a new job, I get comfortable with people, and can actually go to these events without any second thought or anxiety, but before this time has elapsed it mentally drains me to consider going to these things. Very unnerving leading up to it and basically just dont go.

Is this just a normal thing? I dont consider myself completely introverted because once you know me, and I know you, I am an extreme extrovert. Until that time though I feel very disconnected and dont want to try and do anything.

Resources for gaining knowledge or skills

Ive been with a Utility company for just over 2 years, I just recently went from operations and distribution design to the substations department. Its a humbling yet rewarding experience so far, mainly because of the depth of technical knowledge I can learn over time in this department.

I know my knowledge and confidence will grow with time and practice, however, I am wondering if there are resources where I can study or learn some of these things without the day to day experience when planning, designing or commissioning.

Paid resources might be a hard sell with the company, thats the only limiting factor I can think of. A lot of discussion teams have sound familiar to me because of previous education but I have been out of college since 2019 and only in this industry 2 years, so I am fairly rusty with the theory and technical aspects.
