To the others like me that listen to music 25/8, consider signing this campaign for a famous singer(conan gray) to come to india on his world tour

as a 16 year old whos favourite artist of 6 years, Conan Gray is on world tour, theres nothing i want more than seeing him live in india, so if any of you like conans music too or just think more international singers should have concerts in india, consider signing my campaign for the world tour to include india

experienced the perfect example of internalized homophobia today

so basically, i have this friend and she's bisexual. she's dated a lot of girls and i know she was really serious about all of them. so guess how shocked i was when something happened today. this friend of mine has a younger sibling(8-9 yrs old) that i see around where i live sometimes. so i was talking to my friends and they mentioned something about me being gay and i think the kid overheard that. so later, she asked me what gay means. and i told her it meant happy. and i thought she'd believe me and that would be the end of it but then she told me i was lying. so i asked her, what do you think it means then? and she told me that her sister said it means "being trash"

keep in mind what i said earlier, about her having genuine relationships with other women before. i was genuinely speechless and just told the kid i dont know what it means either. it was a really weird interaction and i honestly dont even know whats up with that girl but she did bully me in the past, so maybe that explains a bit of it?💔

finally leaving this subreddit

after weeks of forcing myself to stay in the subreddit because WHO KNOWS, something useful might actually come up one day, i have come to the conclusion that this may be one of the most useless and dumbest subreddits ever. most of the posts going viral here are only either nsfw or romance related or asking for validation. so i finally have peace. no more seeing posts asking how to shave your balls or about some "whore" in your school. no more incel guys who think women only care about height and looking like tom welling. no more stupid and petty gossip posts about your relationship(at 13 yrs old). no more annoying kids. im finally leaving🥹. goodbye everyone i wont miss anything about here

why do some straight people always think we have a crush on them

context: my friend, lets call her A, thought it would be funny to hijack my instagram and text my straight friend, lets call her B, pretending to be in love with her. for context, im unlabelled but mostly only into girls. and A and B are best friends but im not very close with either of them. i didnt know this was happening and woke up the next day to see that B had blocked me and not knowing why (A deleted all messages). a while later, A told me what happened, said she thought it was funny, and admitted it to B as well. even after all this, when i told B i would never do something like that, she sent these texts. its so annoying because we're barely even close to each other and i have never shown a single sign of liking her in the slightest. maybe i overreacted but i found this really annoying and just left her on read.

these were the texts B sent after everything happened:

if you think india deserves to be a part of Conan Gray's world tour, consider signing my petition (Conan Gray is NOT a kpop idol but is commonly associated with kpop)

As someone who's been a huge Conan Gray fan for 6 years, there's nothing i want more than seeing him live on world tour but most of his concerts are held only in europe/america though there's a large conehead community in asia (specifically south asia) as well. thats why a couple of other indian fans and i created this campaign to add india to the wishbone world tour. we're only at 20 signs right now, so every new one is appreciated. thank you!

Would the idea of creating an online campaign to bring an artist to India work?

So I know this has worked before when a couple of kpop groups were convinced to come to the US and Latin Aamerica because of fan campaigns as well as when Metallica was brought to new Zealand because of a petition created by a 12 year old which got 7k signatures.

I want to try something similar and create a campaign/petition to get a pop singer to perform in South Asia. I dont want to specify who but theyre pretty famous, not Taylor Swift famous but famous enough to be in spotifys top 500. They have a huge fan base here and I would try to circulate this petition online to get enough attention. I genuinely think a concert here would be really successful and it doesnt naturally happen since artists either come to India when theyre 50 or just never. Should I give it a shot?
