Seedance 2.5 AUDIO TO VIDEO is insane for music videos!

If you upload just audio and text and lock your prompt references in the text itself you sacrifice control over the frames for higher quality render. and most shots come out lip synced. so you can stitch them together and get your final music video.

Blows minimax H3 out of the water

Some people still think AI does't look real - This video just ended the argument Made with Seedance 2.5 1080p

Full prompt:

Raw vertical phone video (UGC), handheld throughout, filmed by a friend who walks with the group, casual sway, natural night lighting, wide-angle lens, deep focus.

Characters: The hero is a young woman with long dark hair in a deep-purple one-shoulder dress with a small shoulder bag. Her three friends: one in a dark brown dress, a blonde in a black wrap dress, a blonde in a white mini dress — party dresses and sandals. Laughing, spontaneous night-out energy.

Setting: A luxury marina at night — a stone quay along a narrow water slip flanked on both sides by large moored luxury yachts, big white hulls rising on either side, masts and rigging above, fenders on the hulls. Warm orange street lamps, palm trees, distant city lights. The yachts glow with blue-turquoise underwater LED lights spilling into the water; a yellow mooring line runs to the stone.

[0.0s–4.0s] — Wide tracking shot, eye level, camera moving backward. The camera walks backward ahead of the four women as they stroll toward it down the marina promenade, framed head-to-toe, laughing and chatting in French; warm lamplight and palm trees behind, slight handheld bob.

[4.0s–6.0s] — Medium shot, eye level, backward track + quick left pan. The woman in the purple dress surges ahead of the group toward the lens, one arm raised, hair flying; the camera, on their left, keeps tracking back and pans to hold her.

[6.0s–8.0s] — Medium-wide, camera tilts down-left to follow, whip motion. She reaches the quay edge between the moored luxury yachts and launches headfirst over the edge; the handheld camera whips left and tilts down to chase her off the stone.

[8.0s–10.0s] — High-angle wide, looking down at the water, slight jolt. From up on the quay the camera looks down as she plunges headfirst into the blue-turquoise water in the slip between the big yacht hulls — a big splash, the underwater lights glowing around the impact; the handheld frame jolts slightly with the motion.

[10.0s–13.0s] — High-angle medium, looking down, small handheld drift. She surfaces in the teal water, gasping and laughing up at the camera, hair slicked back, treading water.

[13.0s–16.0s] — Handheld tilt up and back down, slight zoom. The camera lifts off the water and tilts up to a person leaning on the deck railing of one of the moored luxury yachts, watching her in the water, then tilts back down and zooms slightly in on her still treading and laughing.

[16.0s–20.0s] — High-angle medium, tilting to follow her up. She swims to the stone quay wall, reaches up and grabs a thick dark mooring pole, and hauls herself out; the camera tilts upward with her as she rises from the water, legs braced on the stone.

[20.0s–23.0s] — Low/close medium at the quay edge, static handheld. She climbs onto the stone lip, rolls onto her side, soaked dress clinging, then pushes up to her feet; the camera holds close, catching the water running off her.

[23.0s–27.0s] — Medium shot, eye level, loose handheld reframe. Back on the promenade, dripping wet, she flips her long wet hair forward and wrings it out, laughing, as her friends and passing pedestrians move behind her.

[27.0s–30.0s] — Medium shot, eye level, camera settles. Still dripping, she straightens up and strikes a confident, playful pose for the camera — hand on hip, tossing her wet hair back with a big smile — her friends laughing around her; the camera holds on the pose to end.

Audio: Live sync sound — friends laughing and shouting excitedly in French, a scream at the leap, a big water splash, water sloshing against the yacht hulls, wet footsteps on stone, ambient night marina sounds. No music.

Style: Raw amateur vertical phone footage, natural night lighting, warm street lamps mixing with the turquoise underwater yacht glow, authentic handheld motion.

If only the plastic and loss of frame quality could be solved - H3 would be a killer for music videos

I found it that even seedance 2.5 cannot sync dancing and singing. it needs to choose one on the expense of the other.

H3 on the other hand is really creative in camera movement and choreography much more than seedance (which is quite surprising)

BUT and there is a big one

the plastic look and loss of frame quality during a video. I feel this is an issue from 2024 and still present with minimax even after other models evolved past that point.

I am talking to the minimax team. I honestly think that if they solved it we would have an opensource seedance which would be a big win for the opensource and closed source communities (because prices will come down)

I tried the LORA of skin realism that went viral around reddit but honestly it didn't do much.

I feel like no LORA can solve a model problem

Requiem for building in public - social critique (meme)

We were playing with Minimax H3 + seedance 2.5 to see what content is possible to make with the latest models.

I used it to make some ads for our saas

This video in specific is just for the love of the game

BTW - of course there is slop in it. it's just for a joke's sake so spare the comments whether you felt it was sloppy (unless you can't help yourself)

Some say AI video is "not there yet" well this argument has been put to rest. they haven't been told yet.

And here is the full prompt:

DV 16mm tape camcorder handheld aesthetic, landscape framing. A gorgeous glamorous fitness influencer films herself directly by hand in selfie-cam and first-person style.

Keep realistic hand shake, slightly crooked framing, delayed autofocus, awkward zoom-ins and zoom-outs, occasional motion blur, and small framing mistakes where part of her face briefly slips out of frame.

Mix handheld selfie footage with a few fixed external shots. For floor work and stretches, the fixed camera sits low, roughly mat height, as if propped on a bench or the floor.

Important: never show her placing, adjusting, or setting up a camera. When switching from handheld footage to a fixed external angle, use a clean jump cut as if the camera had already been positioned before the shot began.

The camera itself must never appear on screen, including in mirror reflections.

LOOK:
Soft digital tape camcorder look with subtle vintage DV character.
Slight blur, faint tape noise, mild highlight bloom under gym lighting, subtle auto-exposure flicker, muted contrast, realistic skin texture, believable indoor lighting, realistic skin tones.

STYLE:
A realistic late-night gym stretching and mobility vlog with a sexy Instagram-model vibe.
The tone is playful, confident, a little flirty, slightly breathless, and natural.
She is clearly attractive and charismatic, but the video should still feel like a believable self-recorded vlog, not a polished commercial.
Fast clean jump cuts, strong continuity, natural body language, no awkward dead moments.

CHARACTER:
The woman in the reference image. Her face, hair, body, and overall appearance must match the reference image exactly in every shot — same facial features, same hairstyle, same skin tone, same physique. Do not restyle, beautify, or alter her in any way beyond the reference.
She wears exactly what she has in the image.
No jewelry.

SETTING:
A quiet modern gym late at night.
Mirror wall, dumbbell rack, flat bench, a large stretching mat laid out on open floor space, a water bottle beside the mat, soft warm overhead lights, mostly empty space, calm atmosphere, no crowd, no trainer, no extra people.

IMPORTANT CONTINUITY RULES:
The same woman from the reference image must remain fully consistent in every shot.
No face changes, no hairstyle changes, no outfit changes, no body changes.
No extra people appearing, not even in the mirror.
No duplicated limbs.
No broken hands.
No disappearing water bottle.
No broken gym equipment.
Anatomically correct stretching positions — knees, hips, and spine bend in natural human directions only. No impossible flexibility, no joints bending backwards.
Mirror reflections must match her real position and must never show a camera.
No camera visible.
No camera setup shown.
Keep her matching the reference image, polished, and photogenic in every shot.

STORYBOARD:
30 seconds total, 10 cuts.

(~3s, arm's-length selfie)
She walks slowly toward the mat holding the camera herself, relaxed and smiling confidently.
Dialogue:
"Okay… late-night stretch session."

(~3s, handheld pan across the room and back to her)
The camera drifts across the mirror wall, the empty gym floor, and the mat laid out on the ground, then returns to her face.
Dialogue:
"Whole place to myself."

(~3s, fixed external medium shot, low angle at mat height)
Jump cut to a fixed shot.
She is already standing on the mat and performs slow controlled air squats with clean form, arms extended forward for balance.
No camera setup shown.
No dialogue.

(~3s, same fixed shot)
She shifts to a single pistol squat — one leg extended straight in front, sinking down slowly with control, then pressing back up. She wobbles slightly and catches herself, laughing.
Dialogue:
"Okay, almost."

(~3s, handheld close selfie)
She picks the camera back up, slightly breathless, brushing a strand of hair back.
Dialogue:
"Now the part I actually came for."

(~3s, fixed external wide shot facing the mirror)
Jump cut to a fixed shot.
She sits on the mat and slides slowly into a full front split, hands on the floor for support, settling into it with a controlled exhale, back straight.
No dialogue.

(~3s, same fixed shot)
Still in the split, she folds gently forward over her front leg, reaching toward her foot, then rises back up and rolls her shoulders.
Dialogue:
"There it is."

(~3s, fixed external medium shot)
Seated cross-legged on the mat, she does upper body stretches — one arm across her chest pulled by the other, then both arms overhead with a long side bend to each side, ponytail swinging.
No dialogue.

(~3s, handheld close selfie on the mat)
She lies back on the mat holding the camera above her face, cheeks slightly flushed, tired but satisfied smile.
Dialogue:
"I always say ten minutes… and then stay forever."

(~3s, arm's-length selfie ending)
She's back on her feet, towel over one shoulder, walking toward the exit while filming herself, gives a tired little wave and a genuine smile.
Dialogue:
"Okay, I'm done. Good night."

FINAL INSTRUCTION:
The result must feel like a real self-recorded late-night stretching vlog by a glamorous Instagram fitness influencer who looks exactly like the reference image.
Prioritize realistic handheld motion, strong continuity, believable pacing, natural breathing, anatomically correct stretching, attractive appearance, and subtle imperfection.
Keep it sexy, polished, and realistic.
Not artificial, not stiff, not boring.

FLUX 3 is insane for street interviews! - And it indistinguishable from reality! Minimax has no chance!

There was nearly no models that can capture this level of sound and realism until now. and I don't think Minimax will reach this kind of result either. This is really good.

What you guys think?

u/mementomori2344323 — 16 days ago

FLUX 3 color grading and realism is superior to any other model in this style

We are always amazed on what it keeps giving out.

News are BFL are working now on improving inference time (it's quite slow for now)

and 2K and 4K is coming soon

1080p already LIVE!

Seedance 2.5 is insane for vlog style ads

It one shotted the ad from one product image and a prompt.

30 seconds generation

nearly indistinguishable from reality

I thought 2.5 will be just a duration upgrade

Nope! this is a big jump in quality

GOLIATH - made with Seedance 2.5

Here is what really impressed -

  1. Multi image references didn't miss or turn to slop

  2. The model didn't try to just use them as start and end frames, it understood the link between images.

  3. The audio quality is cinematic and supreme. no Generic moments

  4. there are no "seedance people" with the known signature face from seedance 2.0

  5. physics are less messed up (even though they were quite solid already on 2.0)

  6. Color grading and character consistency is also unmatched even from multi angled shots

  7. Temporal scene consistency is the highest we have seen compared to other new models (example FLUX 3)

What do you guys think?

SEEDANCE 2.0 vs FLUX 3 - head to head comparison on the same prompt

If it is true that BFL will opensource FLUX 3 in full. It's a unique turning point for video generation

I decided to put Seedance 2.0 head to head.

Both models received the same prompt

No extra instructions were given

Some differences are immediately obvious!

Will Seedance 2.5 shift the power balance back in it's favour?

Testing the fresh release of GEMINI 3.6 FLASH vs FABLE 5

We gave both models a task, we take their output and render it.

Each made their own choices

Who performed better?

Made with Seedance 2.0

Hermes with GPT 5.5 vs Fable 5 - on making feature release vids with remotion

I was training a dockerized hermes agent to use remotion + our frontend repo and some basic research on aeshtetics and pitted it against Fable 5

I will say it's not a fair fight because Fable had full access to the machine and I feared the Hermes might do some damage because my Claude is not looped. and Hermes is.

My experience with Hermes is cool. I wish it would have been allowed to use it with Claude. I think it would blow claude agent harness out of the water.

Seedance 2.0 turns out to be insane for VOX style paper cut animation

And it rarely misses so you can often succeed in one generation for this style. quite impressive. I built a skill for it and ran it several times with one prompt. I have to regenerate less than 3% of my clips

u/mementomori2344323 — 1 month ago

Fable 5 vs GPT 5.6 SOL - same task for a script different taste choices

The rule was not to give any extra advice. just the instructions and let every model choose their prompt and run it in seedance 2.0. ran via MCP on maxfusion

Which one is better?

u/mementomori2344323 — 1 month ago

VOX style content is going viral for a reason - it stops the scroll

I was testing if I can make a skill using maxfusion MCP to automate these kind of story to idiom content. the first run to design the whole flow took 5 hours.

The second run 20 minutes.

I don't do anything but talk to claude. the edits are also made by the MCP in the video editor node

Exploding on X right now with this skill

This unlocks insane possibilities for content marketing

I spent this morning talking to it from the Claude app on my phone. since it's wired to the MCP I don't even need to sit in front of my computer to do the work

Google omni is insane! you can make these ads from a simgle image + prompt

we spent $1,000 on Google omni to test everything it can do.

It is the master of these kind of VOX style ads and stop motion graphics

it can edit videos or run it from an image

The possibilities are endless. I built a skill for it using the maxfusion MCP it's insane so far

What do you guys think about Google omni? let me know which styles you found out it's good for

FABLE 5 - resolved performance bottlenecks in our dev environment in 37 minutes and 2 prompts!

Something that our team didn't have time to deal with because we kept shipping features to production all the time was our technical debt on the dev environment

If you write software you know that performance latency is a multilayered issue and there can be more than one approach to solve it

We simply had no time to sit down on this as we kept developing and shipping features to prod.

But the debt was growing and we got already 29 seconds of waiting for some pages to load

Our CTO decided to let Fable try figuring it out with 2 prompts. 37 minutes later it was resolved.

First page load cut down from 29 seconds to 2

The code was reviewed by the dev team (humans) and was readable. all the detected issues were logical and made sense

We deployed - back to work and bottle neck removed

I really hope that they somehow find a way to keep access to FABLE for the long term and not shut it down

This is not a hype it's the real thing

u/mementomori2344323 — 2 months ago

You can now use claude + wispr + maxfusion to SPEAK YOUR ADS INTO EXISTENCE

one of the biggest challenges we spotted was that starting to work using workflow is a very high friction process

So we worked on an agent that reduces this friction

This is just the start of many improvements we are bringing to make this accessible for everyone

Questions:

  1. how do you use MCP for creative these days? and what is your most common creative type you produce?

  2. Did you try any of the latest agents introduced to the market and your honest experience with them - what do you really use them for without getting slop. not just "I am impressed with the current technology" kind of comment but stuff you actually pushed to your live ad accounts / reels.

  3. What do you feel is missing or takes a lot of time from you still when trying to scale your workflows?

Any feedback will be appreciated as we are gathering our priorities on what to build next.
