Gold hoops and diamond studs

I feel like these are the key pieces I’m missing in my workwear jewelry collection: a pair of classic diamond studs and a pair of simple thin gold hoops.

I’m fine with lab diamonds for the studs, but I have a metal allergy, so I need something that’s set on sterling silver, 22k gold, or platinum.

For the gold hoops, I’m searching for thin 22k yellow gold hoops that are neither huggies nor giant hoops. My skin can’t tolerate gold vermeil.

I’m hoping you chic bitches will have recommendations for me!

Where do you buy straps for your Tank musts?

Basically the title. I have a new small Tank Must with the steel bracelet and I’d like to buy either a black leather strap or a brown leather strap. I can’t seem to find them on the Cartier website and I’m wondering if there are third party options.

Is this fitting me correctly?

I’ve been eyeing the Tank Must for ages and it finally felt like the right time. The watch looks really delicate in person, but this is my first time with a rectangular watch face and I can’t tell if it looks right on my wrist or if it almost looks like I’m wearing a bulky Apple Watch. This is the small quartz Tank Must.

Is it normal to not see a doctor until week 7 or 8?

Hi, I’m currently at 5 weeks and 3 days. I found out I was pregnant last week at 4 weeks and 2 days. It was planned, but happened sooner than expected.

I called my ob/gyn for an appointment immediately. They asked if I’d received any prenatal care and I said no. They then scheduled me for an intake phone call with a nurse next week (week 6, two weeks from when I called) and said they’ll schedule an appointment with my doc either the following week (week 7) or the week after that (week 8). Is this weird? I kind of thought I’d be called in for a check up immediately. I’m based in the U.S. and have excellent health insurance for what it’s worth.

I don’t smoke or drink, I’ve been taking my prenatals, choline supplements, and eating foods with folate and omega 3s/ DHA. But I don’t really know what else I’m supposed to be doing or not doing right now. The internet keeps telling me this time is critical. I’m using the Ovia app and it looks like vital organs are forming now.

I’m not stressing, because I think a lot of outcomes are out of my hands anyway, but I want to make sure I’m not getting shafted by my providers.

4 weeks and 3 days pregnant with a family history of both gestational diabetes and Type II diabetes

Hi all,

I just got the positive pregnancy test yesterday, and, like everyone else, I really want to do everything to give this embryo the best shot. My doctor said she doesn’t need to see me until around week 8 and basically said take a prenatal and don’t smoke or drink.

But I’m south Asian and predisposed to both type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes and my family history on both sides shows it. I was a 10.5 lb c section baby delivered at 8 months.

So, I was hoping this community could help guide me. What lifestyle and diet changes did you have to make? I’m active, my weight is in the high end of the normal range (I lift so I’m muscular, but there’s fat too), and my diet is generally healthy, but includes carbs at every meal (toast at breakfast, tortilla wraps for lunch, and rice and lentils for dinner). I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but I would end my day with a sugary drink (I’ve stopped this) and go nuts for snacks like potato chips, so I don’t buy them often.

I’ve read a lot of posts here talking about diet changes, but exactly what diet changes did you have to make?

Anyone else avoid testing just to keep the hope alive?

This is my second month tracking my ovulation using Pregmate strips, third month ttc overall. I usually have a 27 day cycle. Last month my period started at 14 DPO, but it was a weird month with a longer than usual follicular phase due to stress (I moved states and went back to the office), so I don’t think it’s a valuable data point. I love my new house, neighborhood, and job, so I expected this month to be more normal.

Anyway, I’m 16 DPO. I logically know that I should take a pregnancy test, but I’m not ready for answers. I’m normally a very rational person, but I’m convinced that my period will start as soon as I buy pregnancy tests and that will destroy my hope for this cycle. We didn’t have sex as much as we should have during my fertile days, my boobs feel fine, I don’t have a stronger sense of smell, but my period isn’t here yet, either. So I’m just going to hold onto the hope for now, knowing it’s the hope that gets you.

Anyone else burying their head in the sand this weekend?

Does this look proportional on me?

Please ignore the mess behind me, I just moved and everything is chaos.

I’m 5’1” so I always thought the Bayswater would be too big, but when I saw it in the store it looked right, but now I’m second guessing myself. It seems to look okay when I hold it in the crook of my arm, but too big when I carry it in my hand?

It still has the paper stuffing here, so it’ll likely be a bit less puffy when I take that out and start using it.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, please be blunt!

Anyone buy the same bag in different colors?

I’m in odd phase of life where I’m suddenly using my black Mulberry Darley clutch several times a week. It’s basically the perfect clutch for my needs. And I’m considering buying it again in oak.

If you’ve done this, which bag do you own in multiple colors?
