4th lobe angle off? ~48 hours ago. Implant grade titanium and threadless. Saline.

Left 4th lobe pierced ~48 hours ago. Implant grade titanium and threadless. Saline.

It swelled majorly this morning and looked like it was going to engulf the whole bar because it’s the holiday weekend and no one’s open to get a longer bar and I just took it out.

Looking at the entry and exit wounds and I am now questioning if I should return to the piercer on Monday. It appeara to exit up in the bowl of my ear. I have a pic of my Right 4th lobe attached for reference which was done by a different piecer and is a few weeks older now.

I assume ears are sisters and not twins. I also know 4th loves can be a transition point were it’s lobe and cartipage. But the contrast between the two ears makes the angle of the left feel stranger to me. Have yall seen a 4th pierced like my left and should I go back to the original piercer to have it repierced?

[breville bambino plus] Excessive steam coming from group head

edi: now no water comes out 🤦‍♀️

lately I think there’s been an excessive amount of steam coming from the group head of my breville bambino plus. With contacting customer service I need to package and ship the machine to them, but I’m a bit worried about the actual mailing process in the machine getting damaged.

From what I’m reading it says this could be attributed to a solenoid valve issue. I have been descaling and back flushing like crazy to see if it would resolve the issue, but it hasn’t. Has anyone else dealt with this and replaced the solenoid valve on their machine?

Scenario below - how are you grading toilet hygiene.

This should be in line with sub rules as my logic is written out and this isn’t homework.

Standing touch A. Pt able to work pants down over hips. Pt sits w/ grab bar A to control descent. Pt manages peri-hygiene in sitting. Pt requires max verbal/tactile cues and substantial lift A to stand from toilet. In standing with touch A pt is able manage pants up over hips.

I would grade this substantial A for toilet transfer. Partial A for toilet hygiene due to the lift A. Without the stand pt would be unable to manage pants up over hips. I would grade supervision if clothing was managed in the seated position with lateral weight shifting since a stand wasn’t a necessary component to hygiene in that scenario.

My coworker disagrees seeing the stand as a pure transfer and not component required for toilet hygiene. Would grade pt supervision for hygiene and substantial for transfer.

What would you all grade the toilet hygiene as?

Strategies for contract jobs with 2 cats

looking at moving from full time employment to contract. usually contracts are 3 months can be longer. you relocate for each usually remote areas or areas that aren’t really desirable for long term workers.

as a student during clinical rotations I did take my cats with me. while i think they did okay moving 4x in 6 month then, I now have concerns for their welfare over the long term if I did this consistently. has anyone here done travel contracts with cats? should I just find some to keep them for me and try and travel back every other weekend to see them?

How to approach noise from dog?

[USA] I share a bedroom wall with some neighbors. Lately it seems whenever I get off work and am trying to rest the dog is barking and whining nonstop +30 mins sometimes for hours. The first time I thought it was injured or hurt. Now I believe its just going nuts if no one is home.

I feel like leaving a note is passive aggressive? But I assume notifying management of the noise is too aggressive? I’ve lived in apartments before and am use to noise but I’ve never had to deal with a dog barking like this.

needed to say this to other people that get it lol. Just getting started on this journey but have been steadily putting money into my brokerage after beefing up emergency fund. Proud but weirdly impatient, even though I know regular contributions and a decade are when I’ll start seeing the benefi in interest (assuming the market is having a good year in a decade).
