501 Black not available

I can't find the black color available on the US Levi's website. What they do have is a sort of faded black, but the problem is that the sizes aren't even in stock, and I've been waiting months for new inventory.

I don't understand how a major brand like Levi's doesn't have black available—which is the main color people wear.

501 Selvedge Shrink-to-Fit

I like the 501 cut and already own the Selvedge model in other colors. However, the denim on this one shrinks, so I’m unsure about the size. I usually wear a 31x30; what do you recommend?
