female, 5’6 165lb, don’t smoke or drink, taking accutane 20mg daily since 3/3, no previous medical issues, current - eczema and (???), duration: little over a week

on my fifth week into accutane i started developing a couple small nummular eczema spots just on my wrist; one spot on my right wrist and two on my left wrist, i’ve never had eczema before so it took a few weeks before i went to the dr and was given triamcinolone cream because i didn’t know what it was or if it’d go away on its own. i used it a few times meh maybe seemed to help but was laissez-faire about it slightly because they weren’t too bad and i figured it’d eventually go away

anyways, i went on a trip last week from 5/16 to 5/22 and the day i arrived there (las vegas hot dry climate fwiw), i started having a slight burning pink rash in the back of my knees. within a day or two the rash was burning every step i took and a bit more red. id also developed more (i think) nummular eczema spots on the tops of both of my upper arms.

my upper arm spots have been responding somewhat to the steroid alongside moisturizing but my legs look beat. i wore pants for each day and walked around 10k steps a day for a few of the days but i wasn’t physically sweating at all nor did i feel hot. regardless, i have bruise like rash? down each of my inner thighs and they do not hurt anymore (felt burning/stinging for the week i was there), but after being home for a few days and heavy moisturizing they do not burn or feel dry at all, though they look drastically different when i am laying down (nearly gone) vs standing, or after a neutral temp shower, or walking.

no pain, itching, or burning. just visually kind of severe… and i have zero clue what caused it.

This is I think the fourth time now a package from Fedex has had an issue, the 3 previous didn’t show up and had “label replaced” issues, were delayed in transit for days, and then sent all the way back to the sender or a random facility and then marked as delivered even though they were never sent to my house. They’d even go as far as to make it to my state and then random issues like that would happen.

Anyways, had a package delivered - was supposed to be a single fluffy seated couch. I open the box and ITS THIS. WHAT IN THE HELL I AM LITERALLY FLABBERGASTED AND SO CONFUSED HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE? LOL.

Legit target items, all new, in an amazon box, with an amazon label that also has fedex on the label. I am so, so, so confused. As well as the weight matched the item of what I was supposed to be getting.

I’m literally not even sure how this is possible or what to make of it. I am not sure if my local fedex is doing something sus or what but out of the many items that were supposed to be delivered and sent back, the one i finally get is this. What. the. fuck. LOL (also now i have to tell vine cs again that it isn’t what i’ve ordered for the fourth or fifth time which i’m not stoked about bc what the heck)

routine / products i use: suave daily clarifying shampoo 2x a week, other days trader joe’s tea tree shampoo 2x a week and alternate between trader joe’s tea tree conditioner 2x a week or pantene daily moisture renewal2x a week, no other products but i will put it in a hair towel for like 30 minutes after i get out of the shower and then up into a bun and fall asleep, when i wake up i’ll take it out n that’s all

hi everyone! i’m super sad with my new haircut. i just needed to get that off my chest again lol i’ve been emotional about it for the last two days, heavily.

as you can see — the initial photo was my hair before, dried naturally and all one length i’ve been growing it out for nearly a decade but hair a haircut 2 years ago that took off maybe 6 inches, it grew back to nearly my waist

i got it cut and added a little bit of layers or so i requested because when i initially went in to have it cut straight across maybe 6 inches with it thinned out he told me that layers are better for curly hair bc it won’t give as much frizz so i went with it thinking okay sure i’ll a little bit of layering

honestly now i just despise my hair. i miss it being all one length and as you can see in the photos when it’s dry it looks more the same or more lifeless than it did before the cut. i have noticed frozziness a bit more and the different lengths just drive me crazy — i feel like my shortest pieces around my face are way shorter than i expected him to cut because i thought i was just going to get a little bit where it was blended in but it feels so drastic to me now especially when it’s dry (fwiw i am on the autistic spectrum & this change is huge for me and i was very attached to my hair)

anyways, i am here looking for advice on how to get rid of the newfound frizz and bring out more of the curl that i seem to have when my hair is wet. i don’t completely hate it when it’s wet but when it dries it’s a poofy, frizzy, uneven mess. thank you :,) ❤️‍🩹

i’m on accutane 20mg a day for nearly 2 months and my virtual prescriber gave me a topical steroid that’s coming in the mail monday (prescribed med without looking at it lol) but my in person doctor said looks like maybe ringworm?

it started a month ago with just the main splotch that’s the biggest, it was a small pinkish rash (similar to the one above it) and then slowly over weeks grew a bit to what it is now and has stayed this size for like 2 weeks with no change other than getting more red or back to pink randomly. the patch above it has stayed smaller but will change pink or paler randomly. the patch above it has been the same size for around 4 weeks that i’ve had it now.

the other two smaller spots on the left hand just showed up like a couple days ago and haven’t changed much, some how i feel like they appeared almost overnight but probably within a few days and have been staying the same size just more red now.

really no itching ever, maybe slightly in the morning on occasion because i think it’s dry, and it only slightly burns when i wash my hands or shower.

the faint splotch on my forearm also just appeared yesterday. i haven’t touched any spots at all and have been super careful so if it’s ringworm idk how it’s spreading so fast because i’m neurotic to not touch it.

i tried antifungal twice a day for a couple days and nothing changed. if anything it started to burn a few days in so i stopped and am not waiting to try a steroid cream but i don’t want to make it worse.

today the main spots on my right hand have little polka dot specks surrounding around them.

f 26, been on hands for a month, almost zero itch and barely any burn

not sure what to do — general doc thought fungal but only did a quick look and virtual derm didn’t care to look at it lol just was prob like oh ok ur on accutane here u go take a steroid

what does anyone else think? thank u!!!!
