Installed NextUI, after removing the card to put roms on, it reverted to stock firmware

So I installed NextUI, removed the card to put roms and music on the card. While I was transferring, I did turn the brick on because I thought it would revert to the stock firmware to see what it was like, but it still appeared to be NextUI. I turned it off again and after I put the stuff on the card, I reinstalled it and it appears to be bringing up the stock firmware. How do I get it back to NextUI?

Trimui Brick (Hammer) which firmware are you using and why?

I’m getting a 2nd hand Brick Hammer to try and use as a DAP. Since that is one of the uses I want it for, what firmware do you use on your Brick and why?

I’m leaning towards NextUI.

River water jar

I collected some silt and some kind of grass that was in the river. I’ve had it going for a few weeks and have some little slugs and these little white things. Pretty neat.

CRD-MC5 issues…

I picked this up second hand recently. I planned to use it to convert home movies to dvd. I got some DVD-R’s and connected a vcr to it, I don’t have the home movies with me right now, so I thought I would just try using a movie tape, Jeremiah Johnson. I formatted the disk, the movie is playing on the screen, I seem to be at the point where I should be able to just hit the record button and have it start recording. It doesn’t do anything when I hit the record button. Any ideas? Would it be an issue that I am testing it with a copyrighted movie?

This is going to be a problem, right?

The insulation appears to be put up against the metal wall covering and do you think that there was any consideration to roof venting?

From the stephenking community on Reddit: Stopped into the Fruit…

RM was talking about Moxie / MK Ultra the other day on the live stream, so I thought I’d share my little Moxie story.

The Kennebec Fruit company and Moxie played a part in my favorite book,11/22/63, so I had to stop there on our Maine vacation last week.

Moxie tastes like strong cola mixed with medicine. ;)

Cool stuff in Bangor

See the Standpipe, the storm drain, Paul Bunyan statue, and King’s former residence. There is even more stuff, but we weren’t planning to be here all day. ;)

Bachman Book in Bangor

If anybody needs a copy The Bachman Books, one was left in a little free library near a very famous house in Maine.

My anecdotal evidence about the Maine Senate race…

My wife and I drove north to Maine from the Boston area and are staying near Bar Harbor, so mainly the eastern portion of the state. We saw countless Graham Platner signs and only 2 Susan Collins signs.

Stopped into the Fruit…

My wife and I are on vacation in Maine and I had to stop in Lisbon (Falls) to have a Moxie. Unfortunately we are 9 years late to meet Frank Anicetti, but this is the next best thing…

Dyson V8 Animal Capacitors

I recently purchased a Dyson V8 second hand. It worked but I knew it had a broken trigger switch. I had looked up what it took to replace it and figured I could do it. So I bought it. I ordered a new metal trigger. While installing it yesterday, I noticed that 2 of the 3 big capacitors on the motor were disconnected and loose in the motor. I couldn’t figure out a way to take the motor apart to get at them, so I reinstalled the motor and it worked! The switch works great now, but the battery only lasts a few minutes. So now I’m like do I order a battery or is it not worth it now because of the motor issue?
