Lamb Chop vs. Pork Chop

Which option should one select purely from a health standpoint?

  • Pork Chop w/ stewed cannelini beans & broccoli rabe
  • Lamb Chop w/ roast carrots, mashed potatoes, harissa

I think I know the answer, which is a bit counter-intuitive, but am looking for confirmation on it. Thanks!

Are we witnessing an AI/Automation-driven downfall firsthand?

It seems that most complaints against eBay, especially from sellers, relate to the AI/Automation-driven adjudication features. It is increasingly difficult to speak to, email, or chat with a real human. It seems that scammers know the system almost as well as insiders. They know exactly what steps to take, when to take them, etc. in order for the automated eBay systems to rule in their favor -- they end up with our items and money. Many sellers will no longer sell high-value items and others will simply not sell any items. I believe the increase in automation is driven by corporate greed -- fewer employees to pay means more profits. Sincere buyers are also affected by these automated systems.

Am I overblowing this take? Are buyers and sellers not leaving eBay due to increased automation? I admit that I am a seller who has been ripped off one to many times with little/no recourse -- am I projecting my own experience onto the masses?

I suppose they are making more and more money. Until this trend reverses the 'innovations' will continue:

The desperation is becoming palpable.

  • "Who else is buying now?" (apparently not many)
  • "You can get in now just as people did in 2021 -- what an opportunity!" (dead money)
  • "Fundamentals haven't changed." (can't argue with that one)
  • "Saylor was just 'testing' how to sell, he'll be buying thousands more bitcoin soon." (the bargaining stage of grief)
  • "It's a 4 year cycle!" (2029? nothing bad could happen before then)

Dragon Warrior 3 (NES) - How unusual is the manual for this game?

I have recently been playing for the first time, Dragon Warrior 3 on NES. It's a great game! I know that I should probably be playing the HD remake and this is perhaps an unusual choice, but this is what I've got and I'm enjoying it. I have the Hero, a Soldier, and 2 Sages (1 wizard and 1 goof-off who I trained up on metal slimes).

After receiving the ship, the world really opens up and it becomes only "kind of" clear what the next step in the journey should be. This was true, until I found the original manual online for this game. The manual reads like a walkthrough! I have never seen anything like it, it appears to lay out the entire game and recommended order of events. I was wondering -- how unusual is this? Any other games that do this? Were the developers worried people would be totally lost? Perhaps this is one of the first 'open world' games.

Just another day.

The exit to the student parking lot passed through the gymnasium. The unique scent of the boy's locker room and the weight room crept out from an open door to our right. Just a few more steps and the fresh afternoon air washed over us as we approached the exit doors. It was late spring and the fields and trees surrounding the school were a vibrant green. The sky was blue and the sun felt warm on our faces.

There were a handful of us waiting for our rides on the landing at the top of the stairs leading to the parking lot. "You know what's weird?" asked Jose rhetorically. "People take showers every day and they let the water run down the backs of their necks, but they never really use soap to clean that area. Right?" He looked at us seriously. We stood there speechless; stunned. Was this some sort of trap? The reply came swiftly. "No way, I definitely clean the back of my neck.. with soap." The group looked back at Jose. "Are you saying that you don't?"

Jose was close friends with the most popular kids in our grade. He was friends with older kids as well. He didn't achieve this status by admitting to things like never washing the back of his neck. He immediately realized the dangerous situation he was now in. He didn't know exactly how this information would be weaponized against him. He knew, though, how wicked his friends were. "Oh, well.." he stammered and looked down. A boy in the grade below us once tried to insert himself into Jose's group of friends. He was almost immediately given the nickname 'Big Face' because he had large eyes and other features. No high school girl ever considered him a viable dating option again. "...the shampoo runs down, you know?" Jose explained. Another boy was given the nickname 'Wolf Dick' after they spotted him once at a urinal. Strangely, he almost always seemed to have a girlfriend.

Who knew what they would do with this gem. Some of his friends were so depraved that they might intentionally 'dirty' their fingers and rub them onto the back of Jose's neck. It could easily become a regular thing. Jose panicked. "This is how I take a shower!" He proceeded to act out his shower ritual, like a mime. Taking care to lather and rinse the back of his neck, he concluded "I do actually wash there, never mind." Jose then made his way slowly down the stairs and into the parking lot, still waiting for his ride.

People need to ask themselves why? Why would the folks over at /Bitcoin work so hard to stifle opposing viewpoints?

Here's my post:

"Bitcoin has a true value of $0. I would caution against putting any amount of your hard earned cash into it."

which is fairly tame and not really a radical viewpoint. Through this action and others like it, the /Bitcoin moderators appear to be actively grooming ponzi scheme victims. Anyone invested in BTC need to really grok this.

and here's the result -- I was banned!:

Please can you describe what does DAX offer? I am well versed in MDX, SSAS, SSRS, etc. To me, DAX seems unnecessary but perhaps I am missing something?
