RC vs DA, but this time with pictures.
I think i prefer the black for the two, but I am open to more colors. What do yall think?

I’m torn between the 2026 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek and the Dark Armor edition, and I genuinely can’t decide which one fits me better.
What makes this hard is that I honestly love both styles for different reasons. The Rock Creek really stands out to me because the red accents match my current Nissan Sentra SR, I like the badging, the seats seem a bit nicer to me, and I love that it comes with the off-road camera views and all-season tires from the factory.
On the other hand, the Dark Armor has the moonroof, which I really like, and overall I think it looks cleaner and a little more premium in a different way.
Another thing I’m worried about is gas mileage. From what I understand, the Rock Creek gets slightly worse MPG because of the tires and roof rails. I’d probably remove the roof rails eventually, but I still wonder how noticeable the MPG difference actually is in real-world driving.
One thing I should mention: I do actually want to do some light off-roading/trail driving. Nothing hardcore like what a Pathfinder or some Subarus are built for, but definitely more than just pavement. That’s another reason the Rock Creek appeals to me.
The problem is that I also understand the Rock Creek and Dark Armor are basically the same vehicle mechanically and feature-wise overall, which honestly makes this decision even harder.
My biggest dilemma is that cosmetic stuff can always be changed later - wheels, tires, roof rails, appearance parts, etc. - but the software/features probably can’t. The Rock Creek’s camera system and off-road views are a huge selling point to me, and I don’t know if that’s something that could realistically be added later to a Dark Armor.
So for anyone familiar with these trims: could you realistically “build” a Dark Armor into something close to a Rock Creek later on, or are those features too integrated from the factory?
I know some things probably can’t really be swapped easily, like the moonroof or hill descent control, but I’m trying to avoid buying one and regretting not getting the other.
Would love opinions from owners, Nissan techs, or anyone else cross-shopping these trims. Thanks!

I love both the new 2026 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek and the Dark Armor. I love them both equally enough to where I honestly cannot choose. One of my main dilemmas with the two, is I can install the same wheels and add roof rails. However, I cannot change the 360 camera software (at least to my knowledge). I love the off-road views that come on the rock creek, so would there be any way to basically make the dark armor a rock creek if I truly wanted to? Obviously the only feature I couldnt switch between the two is the moonroof and the hill decent (unless I switch out the dial but idk). Appreciate any help or advice, or just straight up telling me it's not possible. Cheers!
(had to take the photo in acc mode since it went away too fast there's nothing wrong with my car lmao).
2025 Sentra SR, if I try, I can consistently get over 40.
