Can This Be Used As a Valid Complaint?

Hello po, I had Converge installed at my old unit however I was having trouble transferring it to my new residence.

I gave Converge a period of at least a week or two for transferring my wifi before I was going back to my province for a month. However, despite their 'timely' responses, they only gave me a proper response after I went home a few days later.

My issue is I'm also still under the lock in period but I want to ask if this situation is a valid complaint so as to not pay for my current Converge bill + stop using the service entirely without paying for extra fees. Because even if I go back to Manila, I don't want to deal with any more delays for my new connection because I realize it is just easier to get a new one.

Thank you for your responses.

People Handing Out Part-Time Flyers Around SLU Bonifacio

Hello, Baguio-born pero moved out a few years ago for college. Right now, bumalik ulit ako to visit family.

I walked around Bonifacio a few days ago and I passed by SLU Bonifacio and some elderly man gave me a flyer for a 'part time' job pero di nakalagay what kind of job it is + no info regarding the company.

At most sinabi na it's remote, part time and naghahanap daw ng New Sales Associates, Digital Marketer, Affiliates and Others when I texted their number out of curiosity. Sa google form naman mostly video editors.

Legit ba kaya ito? Just curious. Or if it's common for people to hand flyers outside of schools about part time na legit talaga?

I have a 'slot' for an orientation tomorrow pero tinatamad ako pumunta... The location daw is at Insular.

Tyy for your answers in advance!

Mas mabilis ba na isettle ni Converge ang concerns mo if pumunta ka inperson sa business center nila?

Hello, I recently moved residences however I have not yet been able to move my Converge router to my new location. So far, mabilis naman mag reply ang Converge through Gmail but their last reply was basically telling me to wait for further updates and I am very aware of Converge's notoriety when it comes to customer service.

Uuwi na din ako soon sa probinsya temporarily and gusto ko sana imove na agad ang connection ko dito. In terms of network availability, many people in the area use Converge just fine, my old residence is not far from my new one either so I assume wala talaga sila problema to reinstall the wifi.

I'm just asking po if I have better luck having this settled immediately if I went in person compared to relying on online customer support.

I'm still in the lock-in period and I personally had no issues with Converge except for one day where the wifi was down for a few hours. But I might stop paying and ghost them if mahirapan ako mag relocate (a family member apparently did the same thing but was still able to apply for loans and other wifi providers). Pero last choice lang ito if ever.

was anyone actually able to land an online/wfh job?

title. has anyone who's been finding a job that isn't fast food or minimum wage able to actually land a job like that? i recently got off from my recent fast food job due to the stressful and toxic environment that it began to affect my studies, hence why I've been browsing subreddits such as this to try and find another means of income pero

alam natin lahat na karamihan na ppost din dito ay scams, nsfw (nothing wrong with it but it can become rather predatory, especially if they dont pay their 'clients') as well as gooners targeting desperate students

and then this subreddit also gets flooded with posts from advertisements but i dont think anyone has even applied or bought from their services

im just curious if anyone was actually able to land anything here na nagbibigay ng income na hindi lang survey apps.

whether it would be people who actually responded to your services or people who had actually dm'ed ops who had "lf (x)" such as chatter for example and was actually able to get income from them

Ganto ba talaga ka-toxic sa fast food?

Hello, I'm a working student planning to resign from where I currently work. (Won't disclose for now but we also operate 24/7)

I understand naman noong una about the warnings of how toxic and draining fast food is. I have already felt how physically demanding the job is and I'm fine with it, 'part of the experience'.

However, the main source of toxicity comes from our restaurant manager. She's passive aggressive as well as showing no care or appreciation. She always just gets angry or complains about her staff if we do something wrong, mainly just in the group chat with no proper consequences for those people who didn't attend their shift. It gets to a point that her staff keeps going AWOL and the people who are actually doing their job have to extend to cover the shifts.

I consider myself as someone who works diligently despite the environment, I make sure to come in time, assemble the orders properly and also practice portioning and doing back up so the next person who takes over the shift won't have a hard time.

However I have recently requested to temporarily lower my working days so as to attend some out of campus activities (4 days a week to only 3 days a week) and she complained that I keep making requests, instead of being appreciative of the fact that I am one of their working students that is able to attend work without going AWOL or being late at all. (One time she had also complained about staying up until 12 am to revise our schedule because of our constant requests).

Last time, I also had to extend my shift as two of our coworkers meant to handle GY did not come in. I was only supposed to work from 12 pm to 9 pm however I extended until 1 am because the assistant manager on duty pitied me. (I had to work from 5 pm alone as the only service crew). So I was not able to attend my next shift due to sheer exhaustion + the only time I had to stay at home to catch up on school works I was supposed to do past 9 pm.

And my restaurant manager got mad at me for being tired and not able to attend my next shift and even berated me "you only work 3 days this week yet you go absent now?"

So I'm wondering if this is truly the 'normal' of working in fast food. Because I'm planning to immediately resign because I might have a breakdown at my next shift, or if tiisin ko pa muna sa 13th pay or kung makahanap ako ng bagong pag apply-an.

Hello, I want to tour my friend around Vito Cruz kasi and was curious if pwede ba makapasok visitors/outsiders so long as may kasamang DLSU student? (I know guardians or parents matic naman makakapasok because my mom accompanied me to pay my tuition at the time).

What's a valid excuse para makapasok visitors if pwede?
