Why are maids only popular in India and Hong Kong?

Is this related to the education of master-servant relationships under the colonial system?

What would happen if a country declared a return to a matriarchal society?

I've thought about this question seriously before. I'm neither a feminist nor a chauvinist. What's your opinion?

Additional information: I'm from China.

My proposed solution to the Rohingya refugee crisis in Bangladesh

As is well known, there are over one million Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, and Bangladesh itself faces economic difficulties, making it unable to provide sufficient humanitarian aid. Furthermore, the refugees' struggle to integrate into local society further exacerbates the humanitarian crisis.

Wealthy countries around the world are also unwilling to accept refugees from incompatible cultural backgrounds and with low levels of education. Myanmar is even less likely to accept them back to their homes. This appears to be an unsolvable humanitarian disaster.

Therefore, I propose that the world's major powers provide Bangladesh with a total of $150 billion in long-term, interest-free loans in exchange for Bangladesh's formal acceptance of these refugees. Simultaneously, Bangladesh would be permitted to grant residency only to first-generation refugees, and newborns and children would receive Bangladeshi education before obtaining citizenship. Afterward, these refugees would be dispersed throughout the country to better integrate into local societies and reduce future conflict.

A $150 billion interest-free long-term loan could rapidly upgrade Bangladesh's infrastructure. In the short term, the country's GDP and living standards will significantly improve. To alleviate concerns from lending countries, an international monitoring body will oversee the use of development funds to ensure they are used for infrastructure construction.

This will benefit all parties. The Rohingya will receive humanitarian aid. Myanmar will face reduced pressure and its treatment of the remaining Rohingya within its borders will improve. Bangladesh will receive a substantial economic development fund.

The risk lies in whether the second-generation refugees can integrate into Bangladeshi society as planned. Poor integration could lead to new conflicts within the country. Furthermore, refugees from other countries may demand similar aid in exchange for their acceptance.

What are your thoughts on this plan?

Questions Regarding India's Attitude Toward Foreign Capital

Despite facing a severe shortage of jobs, why does India continue to restrict foreign investment and impose extremely strict requirements on all foreign investors? In contrast, why is Bangladesh, which is also part of the South Asian cultural sphere, so eager to attract foreign investment?

Both India and Myanmar are nations pieced together by British colonialists; why is it that, following independence, India achieved relatively successful integration, while Myanmar ultimately descended into its current state of prolonged fragmentation?
