The front door is near the kitchen, the door in the right corner is the water heater.
I love boho modern vibe. I am debating if I should put the couch against the wall like in number 2 and have a large open concept or should I do 1 and have a more cozy small feel but then im confused what to do with the back wall..... I work from home should I put my desk in this room or my bedroom?

Looking for advice from people who worked at both companies. Lockheed was my number one, but I got an offer from Collins. I obviously did not have a choice as I never got an offer from Lockheed, but I am still wondering if Lockheed is a better option down the road.
30F would like to travel this summer and do some weekend trips Friday- Sunday to cross some states off my list, which state should I go to next and why? I am based in PA. I could probably do 2-3 weekend trips.
Looking for some advice on whether I have any recourse here.
A few days ago, water started pouring from my apartment ceiling directly onto my desk while I was working from home. Maintenance told me the leak was caused by my upstairs neighbor's plant watering device. The watering tube that was supposed to be inside the plant came out and leaked water all over her floor, which then came through my ceiling.
Management brought in an industrial dehumidifier that had to sit about an inch from my desk because that's where my workstation is. I work from home 12 hours a day with frequent calls, so the noise was extremely disruptive, and I had to keep turning it off during meetings. The repairs have stretched over multiple days and will continue with painting and ceiling repairs. I'll also have higher electricity costs from running the dehumidifier.
I asked the property manager for compensation or a rent credit since none of this was my fault, but they denied my request and said they are repairing everything as quickly as possible.
Do I have any legal basis to pursue compensation or rent abatement in Pennsylvania, or is this simply considered an inconvenience that landlords aren't responsible for as long as they make the repairs promptly?
Has anyone else had a walking boot cost more than their specialist visit and X-ray combined? I checked my insurance claim and it makes no sense. The boot was billed higher than the doctor's visit. While I was at the office, I asked what the charge would be and the person told me that I wouldn’t have to pay anything. It’s included with my insurance, so therefore, I accepted the boot and now I’m being charged $500 for the boot and the visit for an in network doctor. I feel like I was deceived. I also looked on Amazon and the same boot is $40. I am furious. Is this normal???
