Remy showed up a little over a year after Haylee had her last litter of puppies, she thought he was her baby and took care of him, he let her. Haylee passed 16 years ago and Remy will turn 17 at the end of this month, their bond was so sweet. Second pic is Remy now, my sweet old man.
2013 gmc terrain codes p1682 and p0689, happened 4 days ago as well. Went out to start car, wouldn’t start, pulled these codes, replaced relay indicated (run/crank relay), started right up. Went out to start car this morning, wouldn’t start, same codes, replaced relay, starts, except this time it’s not wanting to stay running. Says “reduced engine power” and it’s done this before, also saying “service stabilitrak” but the no start is new. First time it did the reduced engine power and service stabilitrak I took it to a dealership and they fixed it, but less than a year later it was still happening. Anyone else deal with this? Find a fix? I really just need it to work reliably for 2 more weeks, then I’m moving and will be selling it, probably to a dealership because I don’t want to pass this problem on to someone else.

Have noticed my Stagg kettle almost sound like a stovetop kettle lately when I hear water in it. Should I be worried? It is at least 5 years old.

Vomited some bile with bright red blood in it, took to emergency vet and was diagnosed with pancreatitis after doing vcheck fPL test, result was 5.7; vet also suspects possible ulcer because of blood in vomit. Happened very suddenly yesterday afternoon. Was acting normal before and after vomiting.

My middle boy Winchester is 14, and just had his third pancreatitis flare up. Also threw up some blood, so may have an ulcer. First was May 2022 when he was almost 10, second was May 2025 when he was almost 13, and latest was yesterday. Second one was kind between pancreatitis or a UTI, his levels were in the grey zone.
He is on a sensitive stomach dry food, and low fat wet food, and we’re about to move overseas. I don’t know if he falls under chronic or acute pancreatitis, since he acts fine between flare ups. Just wanting some advice on managing this since I know stress can contribute to flare ups, and traveling is stressful for him. Have an appointment with his vet also, but looking for any and all advice.

J/k. My back has been bothering me a bit since last week, then after catching up with a friend for a few hours sitting on a rather uncomfortable chair over the weekend my sciatica has flared and reminded me how much it sucks. Ugh.
He’s 16 years old so I let him for as long as he wants.
16 years 8 months young! He’s my sweet old man and really enjoys rolling around in the grass.
I’ve used stuff like scrubbing bubbles, and let it sit for several minutes, but it doesn’t get everything. I try to power through it with sponges but there is still stuff left behind.
I will be moving this fall to Japan with my 3 cats, but I’m having trouble finding info about flying them in cabin. If anyone has done this could they please point me in the right direction? I know about the USDA certificate and the FAVN quarantine, and contacting Japan to let them know I’m bringing them in.
