Hey all. Got a seemingly serious issue with my crystal light. Last night when I went to play MSFS, only one eye (the right) was working, the left displayed some fuzzy lines. Then I tired to reset it, and the screen was blank ever since. Pimax play app says screen off. LED on the unit is blue, it still tracks and is connected but the screen remains off. I’m using a 7900xtx, latest software. Have tried a reinstall of AMD adrenaline and pimax play, but I’m at a loss with figuring it out. Randomly when I turned it on this morning I had the lobby screen, it worked momentarily, but now it’s back to blank.
Ive opened a ticket, but want to know if there’s any one out there with any suggestions with what could be the cause? Been dealing with a lot of hot weather here, but I’m thinking that’s an unlikely influence ? Thanks in advance to any suggestions….

Hey all, after months of research and coming from a Samsung I finally decided on the c8k. I absolutely love it, it’s a really really beautiful TV. Literally just set it up today and putting it through its paces testing out with some favourite movies. I have a question about Dolby vision though. Out of the box I just set the picture to filmmaker mode, and thus disabled all motion smoothing and additional processing stuff which I don’t want. When watching DV, switching to DV dark mode (which I understand to be the purest type setting ?) the playback becomes noticeably choppy. Fine in IQ or bright. Any ideas what causes this? I figured motion smoothing is an optional post processing that i wasn’t interested in but it seems it’s essential to play back correctly?

Hey all, I reached out to Govee support to see what 3rd party cable would extend the outdoor string lights and then just refused to advise me on anything saying the lights wouldn’t function properly….

Surely extending the power cable would work fine? Just asking if anyone has a link for a power cable extension just to make sure I get the right one ….

Hey all, I have a PCL which I use exclusively for MSFS2024. I love it, no doubt it will serve me for years to come…

Recently (I think since the last update) I’ve been having these seemingly random shutdowns whilst playing. The screen suddenly shuts off, the led will be red but looking at my monitor it’s still connected and tracking. It usually comes back almost immediately. But yeah it’s been driving me crazy and I don’t even know where to start with addressing the problem.

I’ve already opened a ticket with support, just wanted to get on top of it here and see if anyone else has experienced this and/or has any advice to offer ….

Msfs2024 feels better than ever (I fly exclusively in VR)

I’m struggling to get FSR 4 (or 4.1) going in optiscaler. I’ve tried several fresh and installs, followed guides and searched everywhere for the answer… when I load up OS in MSFS I can see FSR 3.X as my upscaler, but under FFX settings I can only ever see FSR 3.1.5 (and 2.3.4). Never any version of 4?

FYI I’m using a 7900xtx. AA in MSFS24 is set to FSR.
