Goretex XT-6 or Regular XT-6 then waterproof spray?

Planning to use it as my daily shoes but from where I am, it always rains. I don't really run but want something comfortable for walks

Fliptown or Cartographers?

I'm really torn between these two.

Also thinking of Welcome to but I'm really not sure...

EDIT: I'm not sure if it's a different game but I'm talking about Cartographers Heroes: Collector's Edition

i'm also thinking to buy flamecraft duals for solo mode and 2p.

DNUP or Moving Wild

im new to board gaming but i like splendor duel, fliptoons, regicide, harmonies, carcassonne and cascadia kind of games. not sure if this helps. i usually base my decision on bgg rating and moving wild was released 2024 but lesser review and have 6.9 while dnup was released 2025 and have a thousand more review and its 7.2. i usually just play with my partner and confused which one to get

is there a video on how to play the Legends of Kanto (Dragons of Etchinstones reskin)

i was looking everywhere on where can i buy the DoE original but no luck and I just knew that there's a reskin one which is available online. im thinking of learning the rules first before printing it.

is there a video on how to play it? i usually watch videos to learn the game and then read.

if none, should i just watch the videos on how to play the original DoE? though i tried for a minute and i think i might have a hard time since it has different theme.

just want to talk about Paradise, Pix, and Uni

i ordered a Paradise as my first Tamagotchi in almost 30 years. shipping took so long that i ended up seeing a Pix on marketplace and bought it while waiting. honestly, no regrets.

i was hesitant about the Pix because of all the complaints about the touch buttons, but personally, theyve been perfectly fine for me. a few days later my Paradise arrived, and then about a month after that, i got a Uni.

i know a lot of people are torn between Paradise and Uni, and i was too. i originally chose Paradise because my thinking was that if I bought a Uni (which was already more expensive), id also end up spending money on DLCs. i wanted a tamagotchi that felt complete without needing additional purchases. the Lab Tama concept and breeding mechanics in Paradise also sounded really interesting to me.

anyway, i know everyone has different opinions, but now that i own all three, here’s how I feel:

i can understand why some people find Paradise boring. i love the breeding system and all the different tama combinations, but for me that isnt enough for me to love the whole device. i hate that instead of us dressing up our tama, Paradise replaces that with dressing up the planet. the zoom feature was fun at first, but eventually became annoying than enjoyable. traveling feels pretty boring too, and even cleaning poop takes longer. I can see Paradise being more fun for people who own multiple devices, though.

the Pix was an impulse buy. i spent maybe an hour searching it after seeing it on marketplace, and im so glad i picked it up. i immediately loved it after opening it. there are so many little things I enjoy like watering the tree every day, doing the prize draw, helping my Tama build a career, dressing them up, using the camera, mixing colors, and even playing the games with the touch buttons. theres just a lot to do. im especially happy I got mine for a good price on marketplace because some of the prices I see online are wild.

as for Uni, i originally thought id be happy sticking to the free DLCs, but I didnt unfortunately. Berry Land game wasnt easy that its no fun for me. not a fan of the characters and accessories as well. without paid DLCs, the Uni felt pretty basic. But after buying a couple of DLCs and doing some trades, my opinion completely changed. i didn’t expect dressing up my Tama to become one of my favorite thing to do. i love checking out other players’ outfits, raising DLC-exclusive characters, playing the DLC games, going on Tama Walks, decorating rooms, and collecting items. The paid DLCs added a lot more enjoyment for me than I expected.

Right now, if I had to rank them based on my personal enjoyment:
Uni (with DLCs) > Pix > Paradise
Pix > Paradise > Uni (w/o DLC)
Curious if anyone else owns all three and ended up feeling the same way, or completely differently.

I've been considering of getting one and while i still haven't got a chance to get one, I always have these questions if its still worth it. One of the question is, how's the battery life? How long have you been using it?

Additional question is, is it still worth it if the server shut down? how big of a deal is it since i dont have much knowledge about unis.
