Is it bad of me to comment "ban AI thumbnails" on every Youtube video with an AI thumbnail I see?

its a habit I have gotten into recently bc i just truly despise AI and think it ruining the world. I dont watch the videos I just comment it and leave. I wound up commenting it on some young kids video recently and I feel bad (but also kinda dont?) what do you think?

Im new to pokemon (apart from buying cards as a kid) and I'd like open Ascended Heroes at least once. whats the cheapest way a casual should buy packs?

Im not really willing to wake up at dawn and act like a monkey to get cards. My local Targets have chaos rising more or less always. but Id like to open AH once just so I can have fun and say i did it. Is there any realistic way to get it at msrp? and if not whats the best/ cheapest way to find it secondhand?

cheers.

tips for running/training for a 5k with T1D

Im using a tslim x2 and dexcom g7***

any tips appreciated but i guess im specifically interested in how you avoid lows and what your pre run strategies are to keep yourself from falling during runs... are you eating carbs uncovered, turning on a temp rate, etc. (im not interested at all in fasted running) the more specific the better! thanks!

Ive developed an eating disorder due to type 1 diabetes where I associate hunger with being low/ fainting... has anyone else experienced this?

(Preface: yes im working with a therapist doing talk-therapy, CBT, exposure therapy and EMDR. Ive been formally diagnosed with panic disorder, PTSD, and OCD. and yes i have a cgm.)

As a result I have panic attacks whenever I'm hungry because I'm convinced I'm going to pass out. And I also overeat to avoid the feeling of hunger. Feel like its important to note that my blood sugar can literally be anything. I could be 300, hungry, and feel like I'm on the verge of fainting due to a low despite rationally knowing that nothing bad should happen. I wondered if anyone else has ever experienced something similar and if anything helped...

Downloading video file from google drive for regular client and file isnt compatible with mac... HELP plz???

(MAC user) I was able to open two files using VLC. the first pic is the codec details of the incompatible file. notably it includes ADTS codec for audio whereas in the 2nd pic (the working file) the audio is in mp4a.

does anyone know whats going on here? were the two files encoded differently or is there something going wrong when im downloading from google drive? AND does anyone know a fix? would I be able to convert the ADTS to mp4a? emphasis on I need to be able to keep the multiple audio tracks its typically recorded with as I need to keep and replace certain tracks for the edit....

thank you!!

Why is a microdosing glucagon to treat common lows not something on the market?

The answer is pretty obvious ig, food is already a pretty convenient treatment. But if glucagon was inhaleable and made in a microdose that was equivalent to eating 15 grams of carbs I’d be all over it. Often times I don’t want the extra calories from food and the worst lows for me often occur when I’m too full from a recent meal to even eat myself out of a low. It was just a thought. Wondered if anyone had anything to add, if you’d like to see something like this, and maybe I’m ignorant and something like this already exists.

As far as I know the only thing similar would be baqsimi which I believe raises the average adult blood sugar by about 100mg/dL. This isn’t exactly a viable option because it’s extremely expensive and I know insurance only covers a few per year from my understanding. Not to mention there are side effects from using the emergency glucagon like headache, causing a high blood sugar bc of the dose and so on.

Is this drawstring fixable?

REI trailmade shorts. they have this plastic spring drawstring that broke and was curious if anyone thinks it’s repairable. the black plastic housing cracked and it’s no longer able to keep the springs tension/ keep the drawstring tight…
