Never seen any photos on the internet of the inside of a Pocket Pro model so I figured I show off what I found. Getting it apart is much easier than the fat model. You only have to remove the screws on the back and then you can kinda just manhandle the thing open, try prying it open like a book from the top of the console. It still has some jank like its predecessor but its far better in terms of design.

Picked all this up for $100 at a con recently. Wondering if it was worth that. The screens have lines on both systems but they function and read games and stuff.

I was looking around the PS3 store seeing as it’s closing soon and I found this as the description under a LBP bundle. I guess according to Media Molecule these are their official names.

I’ve ruled out ribbon belly as you can see from the video, and the fact that my discs aren’t scratched up. But I can’t seem to figure out whats causing the grinding noise. It’s a brand new laser so it shouldn’t be the issue. Sometimes it’ll read a game and other times it wont. Anybody know anything?

I’ve been using Web MiniDisc Pro and the drivers installed by Zadig like the wiki guide says. And I can get up to the point where the song is burned onto the disc and the name is read, but the music itself wont play, and the elapsed time hangs. I have another disc that wasn’t burned using this device, and I know my player read that and played the music on it just fine. Can anybody tell me what I’m doing wrong? I even tried another PC and a different Mini-USB. Thanks.

Is this what the FSR is supposed to look like? It’s so blurry it genuinely hurts my eyes to look at for extended periods of time.
