Mushoku Tensei is objectively much worse than Made in Abyss when it comes to the “creepy” elements

Main reason why I believe this is that Rudeus behavior in Mushoku Tensei is never given any consequence or depicted in a way that the author shows that he is condemned for it. If anything he is rewarded in every way possible, he’s put into this new world and acts on these things with no hesitation or fear of repercussions because the author doesn’t even seem to have an issue with it. So pretty much it seems like Rudeus is a character people are able to relate to in those aspects and normalizes the issue.
For Made in Abyss it’s like the creepy stuff is snuck in I guess. It’s not like any of the characters are inherently creeps that the audience is able to relate to but the children characters being put in these specific small moments sometimes for humor shows doesn’t necessarily consume the entire plot of the anime. I still condemn it but it’s something thats able to be ignored while Rudeus’s behavior and backstory is apart of a huge part of the show and why he does certain things.
(I know “creepy” censors what I really mean but I was trying to keep my wording as light as possible)

Some good commentary lets-plays to watch on youtube?

I’ve watched Jettro Jettro and a little Jackcepticeye. I really liked how immersed Jettro was able to get into the story, so let me know if you have any similar recommendations or if not just some you guys enjoyed.
(Also I don’t really have a preference for how well they play along as they aren’t ass).

How do I start showing more gratitude?

I don’t have much of a story for this but I’m a teenager and I’ve been told by both of my parents in many separate occasions that I’m ungrateful. I’ve been starting to self reflect on those words and I do think it’s true that I don’t show my care or thankfulness for the people that I love. It’s really eating at me and I’m starting to feel like I’m just a naturally an ungrateful person, I want to do better but I don’t know how to start.

He(M17) spends more time playing video games with friends then talking to me(F16)

He told me he would call me, asked if he could call tomorrow because he's "having too much fun." He spent over 12 hours straight calling his friends. This isn't an isolated case too, he has spends literal 10 hours, 8 hours, 7 hours, **TWENTY FOUR** HOURS straight on multiple days speaking to his friends on call. Its not like I dont want him to enjoy his time that doesn't contain me, but that shit is so bummy too.
Theres days where the first thing he does when he's off work is get on his computer to play games instead of showering when he was outside for hours working. Honestly, it's getting so annoying, and I've complained very little to how much I'm actually bothered by it. And his friends too.. They are horrible influences aswell, he told me they literally try to convince him not to speak to me. Like should I not be freaking out right now? Theres days where I am okay, because he does speak to me daily and often, (we are distant now because I'm not in town for summer.) And also it's not as if he is locked in outside of summer because he still does the same crap ass routine then too. I just wish he would regulate his time properly and I don't know what to do because I don't want to deal with this crap and complain about it on multiple occasions, but he's always been like this, and I feel like its not up to me to wait for him to change, and I know I'm not locked down onto him, but I really want to make this work. How do I properly communicate this with him in a way that I dont have to talk about it again?

I dont like chainsmoker cat (so far)

honestly from the 2 episodes i watched this show it definitely is not a realistic depiction of someones life, maybe the situation the main characters in, but not the responses she has to her situation. The mc is super incompetent and insufferable, and what really made that struck out to me was the last scene of episode one. Sure maybe its for the sake of comedy, but they need to have a good fine line between character and humor. Kinda like how Saiki K is able to still make the characters likeable but have funny moments involving them. I know its only been two episodes but its definitely not a good first impression for me because none of the characters are remotely intriguing, the humor is so lacking. its just dumb poop imagery that i find so unfunny, so I cant even rely on the humor for the unappealing (nonexistent) plot and character. maybe some might find it entertaining but this doesnt feel like the type of show you will learn from or a get a message from (which is ok but its still not funny) but the concept is cool and new to usual animes but the execution is just not good at all so far
but who knows maybe i'll eat my words later on!
