Is this a traditional home cooked meal?

Is this a traditional home cooked meal?

Edited:
The creator just responded to my comment on her post saying it was her own thing. Thanks for all your responses. While not traditional, it was still comforting and delicious!

I saw a reel today by a Korean cook who made this dish for her child. Garlic, tomatoes, okra, scrambled egg, fish sauce. Thats it.
I made this for dinner and wondered if anyone grew up with this or if it was something specific to this creator. ?

(I topped mine with fried garlic coz I accidentally overcooked them the first time I started making this and scallions that needed to be used up. The kimchi of course is non negotiable. )

German inspired Meatballs

I am pescatarian but my kid who spends her summers in Germany has been craving meat balls so here’s my version made with Impossible Meat. I followed a combination of recipes I found for Königsberger Klopse and adapted the sauce to be dairy free as well. ( my diet is really not very German food friendly lol) served with Red Cabbage and Apple Saurkraut, pasta , and boiled potato. Don’t mind the pepper flakes on my meat ball … I just needed a bit more bite..

Tofu knots vegetarian recipe?

Hello! I recently got a package of tofu knots. I’ve only ever used them on soup but wondered if someone had other vegetarian recipes I could try.
I found some braised tofu knot recipes online but love a more traditional recipe if possible.
Thanks!

Canned salmon lunch by 11 y/0

Kiddo made us lunch today. Penne with capers and tinned smoked salmon from Trader Joe’s in lemon pesto from Aldi. The lemon pesto had a bit of artificial lemon taste but the capers and salmon helped with that. I also added red pepper flakes to mine.
Served with a side of sliced red peppers.

[Homemade] Camerones à la diabla

I’ve been craving camarones à la diabla for a few months. This came out so good but my mouth is on FIRE! Just as it should be.

Tteok-Bokki

Used cabbage instead of fish cakes. My first time using anchovy stock tablets. Eggs dried out a bit but the sauce should fix that!

No pictures but dinner today was parboiled rice cooked in water with some bullion and a pack of sazon red lentils and a large tomato cooked in a rice cooker. Served with a fried egg on top.
Two cups rice , 1 cup red lentils 1 large tomato, one pack sazon, eggs optional. Gave me about 2-4 meals for two .

15 years ago my German roommate made me this simple dish and I’ve been trying to get it right since then. I finally figured out how to make it to taste like how I remember! I know the egg is overcooked that’s how I like it :)

I binge watched Price of a Confession on Netflix yesterday. One of episodes has someone having Chapaghetti for dinner so of course I couldn’t stop craving it and had some for lunch today. 10/10 comfort.
