6ft 7in tall & flying for the first time on KLM - advice request regarding tall passengers on KLM flights

Hi all, nice & quick one

I'm 6ft 7in tall, not too large in terms of width, but quite low income (a friend of mine paid for my flight)

It's only about a 1hr 10m flight time there & back, but I was wondering what my changes are of surviving without needing to pay for extra legroom - or will it become a necessity for me to even be allowed to fly?

It's my first time on a flight in my life and I'm quite anxious, so any advice would be very appreciated - thank you!

Edit: There are so many brilliant replies that all make a lot of sense, and have calmed my nerves around the situation - thank you!

Request: How can I detach from my work stress & start to balance my life again?

Hi all, I'll make this very quick.

I work in one of those 8-5 jobs for under £30k where clients ask the world, treat you like shit if they don't get their every desire fulfilled before they send the email, random teams calls & tracker after tracker after tracker. It sucks, and I am wanting to leave.

The issue I'm having is that I cannot shake off that stress once I get out of the workplace. I feel sick to my stomach and zoned out most days now, and it affects every single aspect of my life. I've become more reclusive, less passionate about my hobbies and whenever I think about taking time off - I worry about the size of my inbox when I return (as there's no cover for me). I don't have the energy to cook, clean, eat properly or even look for other jobs - I just sit there after work on the computer and try to distract myself from the world.

I am autistic with ADHD (diagnosed but unmedicated due to medical reasons) and there are no workplace accommodations whatsoever and it's swept under the rug, but I don't know what could help anyway.

I'm exhausted, I don't have any love for life or who I am anymore, and something needs to change. Any advice from those in the same situation/been there before? Thank you.

Learning to look after myself after a medical scare

Hi everyone, I'll do my best to keep this short.

I recently had a medical scare of pneumonia & a blood clot at the same time, I'm in my very early 30's's M in the UK, and I am quite tall (6'8") I am also diagnosed with high-functioning autism & inattentive ADHD.

Currently, my days consist of waking up with *just* enough time to get the bus to work for a 40m commute, working 8-5, coming home on the same and sitting down to do nothing but either stress eat or play video games until late. My job is email-focused & involved a lot of tracking various jobs & visits. I live alone in a small overly expensive flat after a breakup last year with my long-term partner.

I am overweight (127kg) and with my recent health scare, I want to start learning how to take care of myself a lot better going forward.. but routines are something I feel I have never been successful at. I've read Atomic Habits and tried that & other options with no luck, and I am usually scraping the barrel when it comes to pay... And with my illness period recently from the medical scare, my next two months take-home pay is going to be pretty rough.

Here's my question: How do I start building accountability & habits to give myself more structure for my health (food prep, shopping, fitness) when I have tried and failed so many times before?

Thank you.

Hello all, I have a quick question regarding mods that add Mechs, specifically ones already included in the game by DLC (such as Shadow of Kerensky)

If I download mods that add new Mechs into the game, but recent/upcoming DLC added the same mech & variant into the game - Does that technically double the chance of finding that mech between the DLC & mod version? Or is there a way to block certain mechs from mods from showing so they aren't doubled on-top of the DLC versions?

Thank you for reading ☺️

Edit: These are some great responses, and have all collectively answered my question very nicely. Thank you for taking the time to answer, and have a lovely day!
