Should the AMA do something about lap riders?

How many times have we seen a lapper cost someone a heat win or even a main?

I've been thinking about a possible fix: Once you're lapped by the leader, your position is locked. You have to take the next safe exit off the track.

It would clean up a lot of the BS, but I get the other side too - lappers add chaos and that's part of what makes racing exciting. Sometimes they are the reason for last-lap drama.

What do you guys think? Keep it chaotic or make them exit?

Took the biggest L of my life and not sure where what to do next.

Long story short: I put a relationship ahead of my job and lost both.

Met my ex at work. I was her manager. We both knew it was against policy, but things took off fast and my transfer date was right around the corner, so I told myself we'd be fine.

We weren't. HR found out in May and I got suspended. I took full responsibility in the meeting and said it was all me so she wouldn't get in trouble.

That suspension turned into me losing my job. And while I was trying to figure out how to pay bills, she left. Not just left - told me she wished she had left earlier instead of dragging it out.

We had planned for me to move in with her and split things, so now I'm stuck trying to cover everything on EDD alone and it's not working. During the free time I had I started a backyard project that I funded with my own money. She waited till I finished and then dumped me.

Not asking for anything, just need to talk somewhere where people will listen. I need to know everything will be okay. It's been a rough few months.

With no job, I had a good amount of time on my hands even after job seeking in the morning. I started a project to remodel her back yard and she let me finish the project and then left me.

Should I get all my things back after a break up?

I (39m) just got dumped by my (38f) gf now ex gf. We weren't dating for very long but during that time I invested a lot of money in her house. Like a $200 dollar fan, I remolded her whole backyard including some cool solar power lights and some hanging lights. My question is should I take all that stuff back or leave it? I'll grab all my little things but mainly the fan, solar lights and patio lights. Also I just bought her a kuierg machine for her bday and I'm sure she'll tell me to take it if I want. Should I leave it if she offers? I'm going on Tuesday to pick it all up.

Footnote- I asked her if she could have changed one thing in our relationship, what would have she changed? Her answer was, "I wish I didn't keep trying or keep it going for so long". That one hurt, does her answer grant me entitlement to the things I bought for her?

Why unemployment doesn't adjust to the cost of living?

I just recently lost my job and applied for unemployment and I was pre-approved for the max $450 a week. I remember about a decade ago a friend lost his job and received that same amount. I know the cost to live has been on the rise for awhile now but unemployment stays the same. Why is that? For a system that has been collecting from me since I was 15, I would think it would change with the cost of living to your area. What factors am I missing? I live in the bay area for reference, I'm grateful for this option but I'm just wondering why it hasn't changed along with the cost to stay alive.

Should I (39m) tell my (38f) the real reason why Im not finishing during intercourse?

I (39m) have been in a relationship with my (38f) gf for about 6 months. Lately the smell of what I can only guess is her butt hole smells really bad. Almost like a rotten flesh wound bad. And it's to the point that I can't bust. She's getting upset with me and is thinking it's her but in all honesty I feel like its the smell that is throwing me off. I try and say it's because I'm scared of her kid walking in but she's starting not to buy it.

So my question is should I tell her the real reason why I'm not finishing or should I just keep blaming it on my mental? Just some extra info, this has only happened the past 2 times. Every other time I finish but it's starting to bother her and I don't know if I should tell her the truth or try and block it out.

AITA for not attending my partners sons middle school graduation

I (39m) decided not to attend my partners (38f) sons middle school graduation. I made this decision because the son said he didn't want me to go and his dad said he wouldn't attend if I went. He's dad only doesn't like me because I'm involved with his ex. My partner wants me to go and is mad because I told her it isn't about us but about her son. From her pov her family is throwing a BBQ after and that's when I was supposed to meet her fam for the first time. But like I said, her son's dad said he wouldn't attend if I went. AITA for thinking his father should be attending and not me?

Should I (38m) be okay with my (38f) gf telling me our relationships will be decided on if she's pregnant or not

My (38f) gf or ex-gf broke up with me (38m) because she said she needs to figure out her life. She has a lot of little things going on and I understand her stance. She breaks up with me and we get back together the same day and it's always over little things. One night she told me she only breaks up with me because she likes the attention I give her when I attempt to keep the relationship together.

This time around she told me she wants to see if she's pregnant being the deciding factor if we stay together. I asked her why that would be the deciding factor and not cuz you love me. My question is should that be a concerning factor? And should I want to have a child with a woman that doesn't want to be with me if she's not pregnant. Is she telling me something that I'm not seeing? There's a lot more factors that could make this a different story but I think I've stated the major ones.

Key note- we recently had terminated a pregnancy and we both regretted it after. She tells me she wants a baby and then tells me the next day her life would be ruined if she was pregnant. I'm confused, please help
