I've started applying ReplayGain on my albums (Scan as albums (as tags)) and it almost always lowers the volume quite a bit, even -10db and under. I think that's a bit weird.
JXL is a modern image format that is also lossles like PNG but much smaller for the exact same image. Fedora Workstation has used it for desktop background images for some time now. Works in all operating systems and is finally getting mainlained in Chrome and Firefox this year.
Configure > Image saving > File name and swap png to jxl
My 1440p full screen screenshots are typically ~400KB with jxl compared to ~3MB png.
