How early to get to Legacy Hall for US vs Belgium?
I'm planning to watch tomorrow’s match with some friends and we thought Legacy Hall would be fun. I’ve never been there before, so I was wondering it anyone has any helpful advice on how early to arrive, best spots to watch and eat, parking, etc.
Would anyone be able to give ballpark estimate on homemade dosa with potato masala and masoor daal (dosa has cheese inside)
Creative but casual one handed games that make you think?
I have to travel pretty often for work and often the only things I have with me are my phone and a book. Lately I’ve been playing creative puzzle games to pass the time, beyond just NYT games (which are great obviously). Some of the ones that I’ve really enjoyed are Frogblock, Molecano (same dev as Danish), and Broki blocks and demons. I like that these games are chill and casual enough that I can play them anytime and not have think about the plot, game economy, limited events/items, etc. but still keep my brain active and engaged to combat boredom. I’ve never really liked traditional puzzle games, word games, or like match-3 type games, but games that have a bit of creativity and charm really stick with me. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Calories for lettuce and chicken wrap mix? Store packaging says 300 but I’m a bit skeptical
The most protected player I’ve ever seen
This isn’t a cope post. Wemby is a uniquely great player and the Spurs are a good team, regardless of my distaste for them. But after watching G1 of the Finals, anyone who can’t see that he’s being protected as the NBA’s next golden boy is being willingly obtuse. And this treatment somehow extends to his less than great teammates. The Spurs are rewarded for things every other team gets punished for and rarely receive any consequences because they’re being pushed as the NBA’s darling team.
And that’s really the worst part. I’ll readily admit that Shai gets a lot of calls and some of them look questionable at times. But people act like Wemby doesn’t have the same the same privilege? The fact he gets way softer calls and people still glaze him and highlight even the tiniest bit of physicality against him as if it’s a huge deal is just pathetically hilarious at this point.
Good Salamander books not by Nick Kyme?
I’m considering getting a Warhammer book or audiobook after mostly just following the lore via videos and online resources for a while. Salamanders are obviously my favorite chapter, but I’ve heard that Nick Kyle’s writing is… not the best, to put it lightly. I was wondering if any of the better books from other chapters or parts of the Imperium have a good amount of cross over with the Salamaders?
I’ve been steadily trying to work more and more walking outdoors into my daily route. One thing that has really helped motivate me is this game called Prado, which is like a simple rpg where you earn stamina/action points based on your real life step count. I’ve haven’t really been able to get into games you play while walking (like PokemonGO or Zombie Run), but this game really does the trick for me. I’ve found two other free games that reward you for walking/exercise, Monster Walk and KingdomGO, (still like Prado the best tho) and I was hoping to get some more recommendations.
