I like it, but what is it?

I’ve been eyeing this straight razor for a while with plans of sending in for restoration. I like the blade shape and design a lot and will probably purchase regardless, but as with anything else I would love to know more about it. With so many knowledgeable people here I figure someone might have some insight on this. Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

Edit to say that you to everyone here.

No one (who is not getting paid off) wants these cameras!

Flock on shaky ground in Wisconsin as communities weigh privacy and safety

Controversy over Flock license plate reading cameras has rippled across Wisconsin, causing people to fill public hearings as some regions remove the cameras, and others overhaul auditing and oversight. Activists, elected officials and police departments are navigating disagreements over privacy, safety, freedom and the facts about the surveillance network.

Communities including Dane County, Verona, Monona, Fitchburg, Appleton, Oshkosh and Sturgeon Bay are dropping contracts with the multi-billion company Flock Safety because of heightened awareness and public anxiety over surveillance.

r/FlockSurveillance

My satirical post regarding flock cameras was removed by our moderators yesterday, so hopefully this is a bit less triggering for some.

Our freedoms are being infringed on in the name of public safety and lazy police work. Our government is getting away with allowing these illegal public tracking devices because flock is a third party and providing a service for a fee.

There is something we as concerned people with rights can do. We can send letter, or make phone calls to our city council members demanding the removal of these trackers. The names of our city council members, emails, and phone numbers can be found at cheyennecity.org

A map of cameras and their locations can be found at deflock.org

I encourage everyone to get involved. I stress that I am in no way suggesting leaving your cell phone at home, paying cash for simple laser and disabling these from a safe distance, or using any kind of disguise and a saw that could be hidden in a pocket to cut poles. Doing something as silly as this would cost the city too much to replace, and if it keeps happening we might not be able to afford a contract renewal. Plus, we are better than that, right?

This overreach is not what Wyoming is about. Our lawmakers and city council need to stand up to these companies. Let our brave police men and women do their jobs, and leave these cameras the flock out of here.
