Crussis e-Country Full - have anyone tried it ?

Hello,

I'm selling my GF Crussis one full 9.9 29" L since it's oversized. I have to find a replacement around 3k euro full suspension 750-800Wh battery.

When we are together we ride some sort of XC style. I managed to find this bike quite interesting because it might be stable and comfy to get on and off. Has anyone tried it how ot rides and feels ? it's not the cheapest one.

edit : thanks guys

Is a Garmin e-waste product?

Hi,

Garmin refused to service my watch post-warranty. The watch worked 2,5 years until battery died. Which means I paid 3 or 4 hundred euros for a device with a lifespan 2.5years, that's not a good deal in my opinion.

Is there any improvement after new EU regulation that electronic must be serviceable and battery must be changeable?

I'm reluctant to pay another multiple hundreds of euro for another 2 year experience.

Thank

Peace out.

EDIT, I'm posting the email response, translated by google translator, I quoted post warranty battery change and price for thatthe inquiry was done via official garmin website :

hello

We are sorry, we no longer service your equipment, nor are we able to offer a replacement for a newer one with a more favorable surcharge.

Sincerely,

Customer support - Service

A Prague hike

Hi, this is just for fun and for someone who likes to walk. A few years ago (I was living at Stodulky) I challenge myself to find a longest route to my place from the furthest part of the Prague via as much parks as possible. I ended up walking this 4 times.

https://mapy.com/s/gadazanafa

Start Hostivar End Stodulky. A cheat is to go from Chodov Metro station but you miss a nice area around Hostivar.

It can be extended from Cerny most via Pocernice a Ricanka but I've never done that. It's long enough.

I also tried the northern route from Ladvi via troja,Divoka Sarka, Obora Hvezda and Motol but it's not as good as the bottom one.

Finally upgraded from ultralight sleeping pad to proper sleeping pad :)

Just sold off my old 5cm inflating pad from Husky (a local brand here in Central Europe) and finally pulled the trigger on the NEMO Eclipse. The difference is day and night.

Paired with my TNF Stormbreak 2, my sleep system is finally starting to feel properly dialed in. Moving from a basic inflating pad to 10cm of air cushion feels like a massive luxury upgrade.

The issue is I'm running out of equipment list that I need.

Current setup

Tent : Stormbreak 2 with tyvak tentfloor

Pad: Nemo Eclipse 2

Sleeping bag : Boll magma+, Sir Joseph Rimo. II 600cuin, UL zulu outdoor +10°, Klymyt Blanket

Stove: Soto Stormbreaker multifuel, old USSR Schmel for car camping

Shoes:Scarpa mojito GTX

Jacket: Middle LaSportiva Mythic Primaloft, Top La sportova GTX active, Mammut hooded GTX Paclite

Trousers: none yet

Backpack: Deuter trail 30, Uncharted Supply Barron.

I don't hike or camp as much I would like to. But I hate cheap stuff so I want to enjoy the outdoor as much as possible and not to struggle with equipment.

Android phone as a local LLM Telegram watchdog

I turned a spare Android phone with a Dimensity 7300 and 12 GB RAM into a small always-on local LLM server.

It runs Termux, llama.cpp with Vulkan, and Qwen2.5 3B Instruct Q4_K_M. A Telegram bot runs on the same phone and can:

  • Watch public hotel, product, and webpage links for price, availability, and content changes
  • Fetch/read a URL on demand
  • Search the web
  • Use the local model for JSON extraction and short questions

The bot is restricted to my Telegram chat ID, so it is not exposed as a public inference endpoint.

Practical average is about 3.5 tokens/s. It is not a replacement for a desktop GPU, but it is enough for structured extraction, simple decision tasks, and short Telegram replies while keeping everything on-device.

P.S. I am not a bot I formated the message using visual studio copilot during doing the work.

My GF broke a screen of last year model phone. Also I would like to go to some vacation an since travel agencies do not offer API I tried to create a local LLM as a list watchdog of hotels and prices.

Fun project and it's working. Practical use ? not really but still...

From Gaagia Classic to Lelit Elizabeth

I had Gaggia Classic for 4 years and since internet claims it's a very capable machine it must be true right ? right ?

I got bored of it and didn't bring me any joy to use it so I bought Elizabeth. I couldn't decide between 2nd hand Bianca V2 or Elizabeth and went for Elizabeth due to space and my usecase.

Immediately after first shot it feels much better much precise and much much capable than Gaggia. I should have switched sooner.

Setting OVP is 5 minute job I lowered it close to 9bar.

I want to replace gasket for silicone one since the rubber one is quite stiff and buy a bottomless portafilter. I don't know how to work with the original double output one.

The water fill is pure PITA but I will print some funnel.

Happy brewing!

Maintenance by the dealership. Service after 165k km.

Hi, don't get me wrong. Service of the car is purely on the owner responsibility with no exceptions !!!

Little bit of story.
I bought Corolla GR 2.0 2 years ago from Toyota dealership. The car is 2021 or something like that and it already have had 145k km by the time of purchase, company leased car, highways only car in mint condition so fuck it. The car was in warranty and they provided 1y. more warranty. This is such a trap !!!

So, I asked, list me a service what was already done. Just regular maintenace, liquids, filters. Ok then, what do I have to do ? Nothing everything is done, just drive. So I asked ok then what about spark plugs and oil in transmission ? No need. I asked again after few months when I had my oil changed, they replied no need to do anything. I was new in Toyota world and I considered it as a new car so I did not pay attention to any of it. The warranty expired last year on winter.

There is zero issues with the car but you know, I love the car and regular maintenance is the key to longetivity.

So, my car is 165k km now, I change oil every 10k and now it's the time. I ordered oil and I also ordered Denso spark plugs , original oil filter, new air filter, new front discs and brake pads because there is a lip on a disks (zimmermann and TRW) and I wrote to dealership (the same as I bought a car from!). Here is my VIN, my car is 165k km please list me what was done and what has to be done.

REPLY: oooo, you have to change oil in transmission every 90k km, you have to change the spark plugs every 60k km, you have to change antifreeze every 5years...

You motherfckers. When car is in warranty you said repeatedly no need to do any of it. When outside the warranty you tell me I'm twice over with every interval ? fkc off guys.

They did not do any of the maintenance during the lease. No brake maintenance or brake fluid, no fluids except the oil, no spark plugs just absolutely bare minimum to keep the cost as low as possible.

I asked like 5-6 times during 2 years what I have to do and all replies was no need to do anything only engine oil and filters.

Now I ordered new toyota SLLC antifreeze which is absolute PITA to get and two 4L packages of RAVENOL ATF T-WS for e-cvt on top of everything since toyota ATF is pure unobtanium. I don't mind, maintaining the corrola is 5x cheaper than my older M57 BMW but I'm pissed of by attitude of the Toyota. The parts worn out quicker just because some moron in the delaership.
Just out the curiosity I attached the spark plugs after 165k km from M20A FXS engine.

I will change the oil in transmission and antifreeze next week.

Bottom line, I am responsible for my car maintenance, however I'm also a customer and its not my obligation to be technically educated (even though I am). When I ask I should get appropriate answer and no bullshits. If they tell me look, the car is higher milage give us 1k more and we will do it all to keep your car in the best shape I wouldn't say a word.

Fck on dealership use your own brain and request the proper maintenance from them.

10 days, 1000s of photos, and a lot to process. Here are my top 6 picks and the moods they captured.

Hi,

after 10 days traveling across your country I'm still processing the overal experiences. It was 100% positive and I can't say a single bad word. What amazed me most is how Armenia feels like the entire world packed into a small radius; the nature changes so fast that within 100km, you feel like you’ve crossed continents.

You’ve probably seen a million photos of the same landmarks, but I wanted to share these 6 shots that felt different to me. I’ve named them after the songs and films they evoked while I was there:

  1. When I see it I hear Candlemass - „Solitude“, There is one sentence : "My years have spent in grief and sorrow, I've seen them all. " That's why I named it "I've seen them all"
  2. The Brutalist- This one reminds me of the dark, sweeping atmosphere of the movie The Brutalist.
  3. I don’t think I need to explain the Rolling Stones reference for this one... the mood speaks for itself.
  4. Burning man, named after Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here.
  5. Armenian Abbey Road, Take a wild guess why! :)

6+7. : Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This represents the two faces of Armenia for me: the clean, modern, and calm side versus the messy, weathered, and soulful "old" side.

Thank you for the hospitality and for living in such a surreal, beautiful place. Can't wait to come back.

P.S. I am not a pro photographer I just had fun with my humble Fuji.
